LOL. I know you will...I of course am the opposite no matter how much I like Adam...and it was nice to cleanse the pallette I think the expression is to cleanse the palate, not palette. (Plus, you've misspelled palette to begin with.) To cleanse it from whom, from Adam? Surely that couldn't have been the case... since Adam's voice is the nectar of the gods and as such perfect for palate cleansing But I like Freddie's version, it is good;) Much better than Hetfield's. Ahhh...yes you are correct...about palate anyways I enjoy Adam's quite a bit (and in fact it's improved with each gig) but not quite like I enjoy's Freddie's :D

Happycat would love to know why your DH doesn't think Adam will ever fill arenas on his own some day? I like to get a lot of different perspectives on Adam. It's good to know what other people outside of us here are thinking about Adam after seeing him in concert. Hey adamrocks. You know it was a tiny buzzkill after he said that which is why in some ways Philly was better. But during the concert he was clapping, very enthusiastic. He doesn't watch AI but I remember that he loved ROF when he heard it (the studio version) in the car. He went to a GNT in Times Square and said back then that Adam belongs in stadiums and he didn't like the GNT set because it was incongruous w Adam, meaning he needs a grander set. It really comes down to the music. These days one giant hit will help fill seats so there is major pressure on A3 to produce a knowable song, whether it becomes known from radio, TV, commercial or youtube/streaming. I am hoping A3 is the one to get him musically there. DH didn't like FYE or Trespassing all that much, so the voice is better than the songs to him. Maybe he thinks there won't be overlap between Adam and Queen fans for A3? Don't know. Let's hope that Max Martin comes through for him. It's what Adam said to Liam. Queen's songs have lasted 40 years. It's mind blowing. With Adam, of course they will fill arenas. What other bands tour 40 years later like this? Maybe tons do but I have no clue. Thanks Happycat for answering my question. I just keep thinking Adam has his own path to travel and his has a lot of uncharted waters in it. His path, to me, is not going to be like a typical artist's one. He will make music that will not define him to any one genre...a new kind of forward looking music that we've already started seeing with Trespassing. Hoping A3 has some big hits on it but if it doesn't get played on radio well so be it. I just want to see AFL in concert where he will bring the songs on A3 to life and we can dance, party, and be filled with happy energy as he does what he was born to do...ENTERTAIN us!

I made mention of this in the MSG thread, but thought I'd mention it here. Marknow came in and said that there was an issued with his MSG multicam YT vid. One of the problems was that Universal had put a claim in on it. Now I am generally pessimistic about Queen releases until I see a press release and then I'm only 95% satisfied until I hold the product in hand. BUT THAT makes me feel that MSG was recorded and is being at least discussed if not planned as a live release of some kind. The last time Universal put in copyright claims was when suddenly all of the Live at the Rainbow stuff was being claimed...then the announcement that they were releasing Live at the Rainbow. SO while far from a confirmation - it is a domino in the process. Speaking of Rainbow - Queen put this out on their official YouTube. Very interesting to watch *This* Stone Cold Crazy after having just seen the current one...but it looks and sounds great. Excited for September! I do not believe MSG was filmed for a DVD release. I was seated in row 1, seat 1 on the catwalk. I could literally look into the video cameras that were on the right side of the catwalk which is where they were placed for in-venue video (and I did look). Before the show started I talked to the video director at length -- I asked if it was being filmed and he said "no". There was no indication or sign of anything being videoed except for the in-venue video. There were large periods of time when the video cameras on the right side were idle -- like when they shifted to Brian cam. If they were videoing the concert, we would have seen some evidence of more video being shot. There was none. >> For example, when they filmed the GNT Indianapolis concert, it was evident. There was a 9-person crew working on it -- plus several robotic cameras. JMHO I believe Adam's restraint at MSG was because he was nervous and did not want to fuck up. And I know they were nervous about MSG because both Steve and Pete told me they (Brian, Roger and Adam) were nervous about MSG and that was why the Philly show was a bit off. If they were thinking about MSG the night before the show during the Philly concert, I am sure they were thinking about it at MSG.

*shrug* A shame and a missed opportunity if it doesn't happen...I just definitely find it odd that with everything out there from this tour including multi-cam mixes by the same poster and MSG get's a claim from the record company.
