Anyone heard from Momtomany and Q3 today? They're probably recovering from their epic experience I think they are still incoherent. Q3 had mentioned to me that she thought she could do tonight's thread but to make sure she was online. I think her onstage adventure did her in. I just hope she managed to find her way to Connecticut for the next show. I am still not coherent and only here via mobile. I am in the very far western edge of metro Philly in farmland and no Internet.

Can someone add the 2nd New Zeland show to the page 1 list? Sorry it's taken me so long to answer this. I'm not exactly certain how Q3's grid works and I don't want to mess it up and not be able to repair it. I'm leaving it for her to add.

I can attest to Q3's navigation and driving skills. She gets the job done! Doesn't mean we don't swear at the navigational voice of 'Amy' or throw our hands up in despair when Q3 multitasks at the wheel - with all sorts of aids and sensors at her side, while relating the history of the townshp we're passing through. Chapfs should go to work! Q3 remains a master of all things amazing.
This is all about YOU. Wonderful souls! You put me in your kettle and I want to boil!
Home.
Don't want to be prone to details - but this is what you may get. Theosgma, and her *exquisite*!! post from today, tells so much of what we experience either beyond the stage or in it. They all become one of Augenposie's sublime photographs; moments only left for a poet's reflection.
I look at a photograph my DH just brought to me. OMG! I was holding Adam's arm! Really?
We were with a great group of sharing souls. This is a very important part of the 'stew' if everyone wants to have a moment in front; and there are only ten of us. Backstage, it was sooo much looser this time around. We still needed Dave to escort us through the artists' hallway. But there were so many people wandering around! One of them just happened to be Nile Rogers! So gracious, so kind - so tiny! Pete, Brian's guitar tech, happily posed for photos - and then brought Q3 and me guitar picks.
Yes - this was my stage call #3. I bought in. No favors. This is what I choose to do. Learned alot about sharing and generosity, which was in short supply in earlier venues.
We kept rotating seats - standing points - during the show. I was so lost in my little bubble of happiness I didn't think of when or where I'd find myself in any given song. It was all so ()*&^#@^*( wonderful! A great group - me, Q3, Queen couple, and family of four. Also, a techie from Australia was there - learning the ropes for the next few weeks.
Just now, I've sat on DH's knee and watched the video of CLTCL . . . big screen. What I remember is how Adam was center stage, and then, I humbly say, he looked at me. I knew it. He was coming my way. He sang and I sang and then he was right there. I am no dancer, but his hand and his red glove told me what to do. Twirl!
It happened so quickly! He kept singing and I kept singing too! He was strong and he was happy and he was in control. OH - and did I say he was tiny, skinny, ferocious, and willing to let me live? I can't explain how he was fragile, like a timeless work of art, and bold, shameless, happy and beautiful beyond words.
I'm not finished, but I feel I must begin the story - there will, definitely, be more to come . . .
Lived out of a carry-on bag for 14 days; brought home three setlists, one Roger Taylor drumsitck (full of knicks and dents!), 604 bad photographs, and a reason to stay here - on and on.

Donna @ala4afam 1h LOL an entire article about the company that wrapped Adam's mic in gold! Dying!! www.supergraphics.com/blog/supergraphics-wraps-microphone-adam-lambert-and-queen-tour … superGraphics wraps microphone for Adam Lambert and Queen tour | CASE STUDIES
While superGraphics has made a name for itself installing large format graphics, environmental signage and fleet wraps, the company's expertise extends to all sorts of projects of many different scopes. The company can also lend its knowledge of materials to enhance environments and increase aesthetic appeal. The superGraphics team recently wrapped American Idol alum Adam Lambert's microphone for the singer's recent tour with classic rock group Queen. Lambert was introduced to the world when he auditioned with Queen's song "Bohemian Rhapsody," eventually leading to his current relationship with the group, Rolling Stone reported. The rest is history. Queen and Adam Lambert paired up for a short European tour in 2012, but in mid-June, they embarked on a larger trip throughout the U.S., which will last through July. "We've got a lot more cities to visit and so I think we all decided to build up the visuals and the stage accordingly," Lambert told Rolling Stone. The group turned to superGraphics to help them with a small part of this endeavor - wrapping the microphone Lambert would be using on stage. They were asked to cover the microphone using a gold color to give it a more glamorous look for the tour. In the end, the team ended up wrapping two microphones, one of which would serve as a backup. Industry-leading knowledge of materials According to superGraphics Account Executive Tim Madsen, wrapping microphones is pretty rare, and the project presented some challenges, even with its relatively small scope. First, they needed to find a high-gloss foil that would conform around a small diameter. The superGraphics team also had to make sure the material would be comfortable in the singer's hand throughout an hour-long show. Eventually, they settled on Avery Conform Chrome. As Madsen noted, the success of the project also demonstrates superGraphics' superior knowledge of the industry. Like any other industry, graphics materials and approaches are continually evolving. "It's an example of our awareness of materials that are available for new uses," he said. "You have to do a lot of continuing education, to keep on top of what's happening, so that when the need arises you know where to go." Getting the job done for Queen Once the material was selected, superGraphics had to get an installer out to the United Center in Chicago before the tour moved on to its next location. The superGraphics team completed the project on time so Lambert and Queen could move on to their next tour location, gold microphones in tow. For Madsen, having the opportunity to do a project for Queen was one of the greatest parts of the project. He remembers Queen from his youth, and even his 13-year-old daughter knows their music. "Most of the bands I work with I've never heard of before. They're not in my musical repertoire, so to do Queen is kind of cool," Madsen added. www.supergraphics.com/blog/supergraphics-wraps-microphone-adam-lambert-and-queen-tour
