Michael Slezak's tweet: For those of you who asked, I LOVED the @adamlambert + Queen concert last week — but went purely for my own enjoyment, so no review. Don't have twitter... Did he say his Mama was with him and if so, what did she think? I remember from the AI 8 season critiques the comments about AFL being her VERY FAV </img> You can see his tweets here twitter.com/MichaelSlezakTV/with_repliesAnd in addition to the above there's another tweet on the subject: Michael Slezak @michaelslezaktv · 31 min Pretty epic start 2 finish. Especially loved "Who Wants to Live Forever," "Under Pressure," "Killer Queen" and "Another One Bites the Dust."

ETA 2 Lots of Idol talk and praise for Adam, unparalleled voice (or was it range?). Loving the tour, packed houses going bogus. Some football talk at the end.

I love the comments, like the one from Sugaree above, when family members towed along to QAL FINALLY get what's the big deal about Adam Lambert. I had taken my husband to the Milwaukee GNT concert, and while he thought Adam had a great live voice, he still didn't really "get it," likely because he really didn't get into the songs Adam was singing. Fast forward a few years: Now, after being carted along with me to three QAL concerts, where Adam's amazing vocals were put to use on some of my husband's favorite songs, he really, truly, seems to understand my passion. I also took along a friend and sister and sold tickets to another friend and her husband. They were all quite impressed, so I've finally disembarked the crazy train in the eyes of several of my closest people. I probably should have taken my two sons, since they are among my greatest eye-rollers, but at least their dad is now a valid witness to Adam's immense talents!

Thanks to butterknife I took the leap and installed both adblock and hola for Chrome. The latter enabled the listening for the NZ interview on iHeartRadio. GREAT!

Some football talk at the end. I think it was bonkers instead of bogus. I wasn't crazy about the sports talk, wanting to hear more about Adam. Roger was asked when they were last in New Zealand (1986). Said he remembered it was beautiful and is looking forward to seeing more of the country. Anyway, most of it was about Adam!

Yes, bonkers makes more sense. As a whole I think they talked about Adam quite a lot and the interviewer asked several questions about him. Well, luckily there's the recording to come.

In the Neil podcast, it sounds like Rufus says at 30:50ish the name of a song they might do in Japan. I can't hear him well enough. Is there a song titled "Take Me Down" or something like that? Just finished...my "transcription" (from what I could make out and it's paraphrased) - Remembering that this interview was backstage at Vancouver. Nick: ....over to Japan and there are certain songs that are usually played... Neil: You know what songs those are (TALON INSERT: Teo Toriatte & maybe I Was Born To Love You) Rufus: (SOMEONE - I THINK he said Adam but it may have been Brian) wants to do Dragon Attack again Nick: Oh really? An exclusive there! Neil: And well I don't know if I can say but he (TALON - talking about whomever Rufus mentioned) really likes Get Down Make Love too, doesn't he? Rufus: Oh yeah... Nick: Oh that would be awesome to play WHat I took from that particular segment: Brian and Roger control the set list. Adam probably has SOME input. The "secondary" band has almost no input. I would say that Get Down Make Love is...unlikely. But if Adam bugs Brian enough than perhaps. I think Dragon Attack is likely to stick around.
