Ha Ha that typing GIF is hilarious. Maybe we need to all sign on to a petition or card...a million tweets could get a tad annoying. Queen fans complain about how many years it takes to put together something from the archives. Could they do a timely DVD of this tour? Holiday sales would be a great $$$ maker.

I made my first post over in the concert thread for Mohegan, and was told I should swing over here and introduce myself, so... Hi! *waves*
As I mentioned in the other thread, I went to the show on Friday with a couple of really wonderful people I met at the first Mohegan Sun show, and they recommended this message board as a great place for Adam fans. Since none of my other friends (in Real Life or online) care about Adam at all, I had to check it out. So far, I really like what I've seen!
Anyway, ummmm. I'm bad with intro stuff, and kind of shy online even after so many years, but I'll try.  I can tell you that I discovered Adam Lambert after Idol, which I guess is not the norm for big fans of his? My ex's mom bought his first album right when it came out, hated it, gave it to me, and I instantly fell in love. It was right around a pretty rough point in my life, and his music was basically a port in the storm for me. Serious comfort food for the soul, you know? I never got the chance to see him live until this month, and quite honestly, it was one of the single greatest experiences of my life, getting to see my favorite singer performing some of my all-time favorite songs that I grew up with. Not having people to flail at about it in the days since has been killing me. :

Oh they CAN do timely especially if they think the iron is hot. Queen + Paul Rodgers did summer shows (June) and there was a DVD/CD released that fall. ALTHOUGH on the other hand...when they did the Ukraine in the summer of 08 nothing came out til 2009. It all depends I guess... The issue here would be timing. Rainbow 1974 is definitely being released in September. Then you have Queen Forever and A3 in the works. Not sure where it would slot it. Unless they release QAL and Queen Forever in a close succession....which *COULD* happen *shrug* |

Hello all,  I thought I'd register after discovering this board a few days ago looking for concert info. Now I visit here a few times daily because I love having all the Adam news and pics in one place! I've been an Adam fan since AI (and have never voted for any other contestant) but he didn't become my favorite until "Ring of Fire" when I jumped at my TV going "WTF??!!!!!" in pure amazement!! I'm sad to say I didn't attend his first 2 solo tours but there was no way I was gonna miss Queen AND Adam Lambert!! So I went at MSG (AMAZING!!) and Izod Center and now my love for Adam is reignited and have actually increased tenfold!!! Thanks to all you guys who contribute Adam goodies! Side note: I must concur with the poster who thought the lightning bolt shirt was ugly. (And at $240 too!) One of my favorite things about him is his enviable couture&rock fashion, but this shirt was a total misfire  |
