Everyone must be sleeping in today Hope our boys are getting their rest as well! I'm guessing there was a blow-out party in Toronto last night. And everyone is sleeping in. Brian May usually hits Twitter a few hours after each concert, but he was silent last night. Probably celebrating with Roger, Adam and the rest of the team the end of a glorious, successful, fun tour. I wish it wasn't over ... *sigh*. But we can relive it whenever we like, thanks to all of the great folks who took videos and photos. Many thanks to all of you! As sad as the end of the NA leg is - the great thing is we have more shows to look forward to, with most probably new material! and I am sure Asia/OZ/NZ fans will keep us well fed! Thank you to all the wonderful streamers, photographers, recorders, re-cappers, to everyone bringing the treasures and sharing your knowledge and experiences! I am happy actually we are having a small break, so I can catch up on the missed concerts and do some non QAL related stuff for a change . BTW: When are the Live Proud AT&T activities (if any) are supposed to happen?

During this Queen and Adam break I am devoting my ears and heart to Trespassing.. I can't believe just how GREAT this album is.. Whenever I go back to listening ,I'm blown away by that great voice and the amazing songs, many that Adam wrote.. Still think this album will someday be EPIC... If you have the time give Trespassing some of your time.. the man is a marvel in whatever he does...
I have never loved a singer/entertainer more than I love Adam... and I've been around long enough to hear many of the greats... Many heartfelt thanks to Q3 and all the fans who shared so much Adam and Queen with us.. The show has become part of the fabric of my life.

Agreed about Trespassing. The last three bonus tracks are the best IMO! Runnin' should have been a hit single, and Take Back has a great hook. One day, maybe.......

ADAM LAMBERT ✔ @adamlambert Hey thanks for the shoutout @dankanter ! Glad you liked the show! It was noted last night that Dan Kanter is musical director and guitar player for J Beib, and that it was Dan who leaked the news (unintentionally, I think) about Adam singing TSMGO at the EMAs back when. After this "engagement" (who really knows how long it will last), and when Adam is ready to do his own tour, he should be able to pick the best of the best to work with him. Not only his talent, but also his professionalism and personality have to be very attractive to people in the business. The future is bright!

Reposting cassie's post from last night: From forum called metalsetlists.com I've seen a ton of shows in my life so far, and this beyond a shadow of a doubt is one of the best I have ever seen. Everything about the show tonight was perfect. The sound, the crowd participation, the setlist, just not a single dull moment the whole night. Adam Lambert surprised the hell out of me. I knew he was a pretty good singer, but god damn, when did he get THIS good? He did the Queen songs justice, and I can't think of another singer who could have possibly filled in for the irreplaceable Freddie Mercury. So much charisma and knew how to handle a large crowd!Brian May and Roger Taylor did not disappoint, both were on their A-game, and you could tell that they were both thrilled to be touring again. Both did amazing solos as well The rest of the band (never caught their names) did an amazing job as well. I particularly liked how the Bass player did some riffs from Hot Space (Body Language and Staying Power), I thought it was a nice nod to that underrated album. I noticed that The Show Must Go On was dropped at the last show in favor of Dragon Attack. I LOVE Dragon Attack, but The Show Must Go On is my favorite Queen song, so I was a bit bummed out about that. Tonight though, both were played, and I couldn't have been happier Do NOT miss this tour if you get a chance to see it, it truly is one of the best shows you could ever see these days! www.metalsetlists.com/showthread.php?t=25599 Comments:MetalIsArt MetalIsArt I'm very surprised, amazed even, that Lambert gets all these positive reviews. Dare I say that he fits Queen better than Paul Rodgers? toolfansat I'm as surprised as anyone about Lambert! Paul Rodgers is an amazing singer, but to me, he just never "fit" with Queen songs. Lambert's voice is better suited to them, and his flamboyance and showmanship did Freddie proud, but without trying to "copy" him. I was very impressed! SignoftheHammer Absolutely he does, no question about it!

I am still recovering for last night. I am not alone. My hotel is filled with people who attended the concert last night and all look a bit dazed this morning.

Yes, money talks. </img>
