I thought Constantine said some nice things about Adam but he sounded like a douche with the last sentence "He better call me after that"...like Adam owes him one for saying nice things about him...

Actually Constantine did receive a Tony nomination for Rock of Ages. He was giving Adam high praise. That last part could have been said as a joke, sometimes the intent is lost in print.

Luke Easton 3ku1 1h @adamlambert Third album well possibly be delayed till 2015 to accommodate the Queen Tour www.clickmusic.com/news/article/adam-lamberts-third-studio-album-may-now-have-an-early-2015-release-date …
POSTED 31ST JULY 2014 IN NEWS, ADAM LAMBERT | BY CLICKMUSIC NEWS DESK Adam Lambert
Adam Lambert's third album has been a talking point among fans and critics since the release of his acclaimed Trespassing album in 2012. But while originally slated for a 2014 release, it now looks like the LP may be delayed until early 2015 to accommodate the huge success of his tour with Queen. Adam had previously said of a 2014 release date for his new album: "In theory, yes. If not, something is seriously wrong!" But the unprecedented success of the Queen + Adam Lambert tour across North America has caused Roger, Brian and Adam to extend the run of dates. What was initially just a handful of live dates across the United States and Canada has now grown to include dates in Australia, New Zealand and Asia. And Brian May said there will likely be more throughout Europe and the United Kingdom. With more dates being planned, a source tells us that Adam's original 2014 release date could be pushed back to early 2015 in order to factor in his work with the band and the demands of the tour schedule. We've reached out to Adam's label for an official comment, but hadn't received a response at the time of writing. He has been working on material with heavyweights like Max Martin in Sweden and revealed that his work with Queen has liberated him even more on the record, opening him up to a more experimental style this time around. One thing's for sure, the Glamberts are already salivating over the prospect of new music from him. This is not news, it is clickmusic.com which is rehashing one Adam Lambert story a day for clicks. Ignore them and do not click on their articles. Ryan Seacrest announced this and Adam confirmed it a couple months ago. *** On the Constantine comment -- he said Adam could sell out MSG on his own, that is a huge move for him to make about Adam. I am not a Constantine fan but he can sing and is pretty good live. (I saw him once when he did a charity event.)

Adam mention....... 'American Idol' Alum Constantine Maroulis Returns to 'Rock of Ages'www.hollywoodreporter.com/idol-worship/american-idol-alum-constantine-maroulis-722662"Which isn’t to say he doesn’t keep up with his fellow Idols. As the first performer on the Idol stage to perform Queen’s “Bohemian Rhapsody” and having worked with the band, Maroulis had kind words for Adam Lambert’s recent Madison Square Garden appearance. “He’s freakishly talented. He has an instrument — frankly, like Carrie Underwood, who is the type of girl that can wake up in the morning and wail anything imaginable, and so can Adam Lambert. He has become sort of a pop icon and I just don’t think that he has gotten to do what he really wants to do yet. But how do you turn down a collaboration with [Queen]? I have done work with Brian May and all of them are great, and they have always been big fans,” he said. “I think that Adam is a great performer and capable of doing his own Madison Square Garden shows in time. Everyone knows who he is. We have a lot of fans in common and I am so happy for him. He better call me after that!” Say what?! "An instrument like Carrie Underwood"? ( Really?!) "He has become sort of a pop icon and I don’t think that he has gotten to do what he really wants to do yet. But how do you turn down a collaboration with [Queen]? " (How in the heck does he know what AFL wants to do?! To me, he makes it sound like Adam really wants to do something else rather than work with Queen but he couldn't say no to them because they are Queen.) "I have done work with Brian May and all of them are great, and they have always been big fans,” (Worked with Brian May...what the heck did he do with Brian?)
"He better call me after that!" ( Yeah I'm sure Adam has him on 'speed dial'.) And Drum Roll here......... "We have a lot of fans in common" ( OMG! REALLY?)
I'm sorry but his whole conversation just hit me the wrong way. I've always felt he was way into himself. But it was nice of him to say Adam was "Freakishly talented, sort of a pop icon, and a great performer". Sorry...I won't say anymore about him.

Ahem - hello coat tails anyone ... #carryon IKR! His last Adam statement was that Adam wasn't in the top tier of male Idol contestants! Ha, ha, ha, ha, ha .....!! He lost all credibility with me when he compared Adam to Carrie Underwood in terms of vocal talent. Are you freakin' kidding me? Did you see The Sound of Music? She may be a good pop/country singer, but not in Adam's league.
