OMG the hand wringing if they stepped onto the hallowed site of Wembley ... LOL I think O2 sounds like the perfect place to close out this particular round of things. With the buzz of the tour to date behind them selling out 40k seats in London should be 3, 2, 1 gone. It could be worth starting a Wembley rumor just to watch the .... *** It will be O2 -- #1 venue in the world. Oh let's... it's a wintery Friday here, what the hell else is there to do (evil smile to myself as I open up my Twitter).

Not sure how reliable or true this is. But over at Queen Zone, someone posted with a strong source that Queen and Adam Lambert well be performing at the O2 in London in November. " I've heard a strong rumour the 02 in London has been booked for 2 dates in November ! From a friend of a friend who works for a travel company." www.queenzone.com/forums/1391961/oz-and-then-.aspx. Just people spitballing haha, but could be true. It could very likely be true. And do the math --- if November is the end, they should be playing somewhere in October. South and Central America?? Seems to be a constant stream of interest from that part of the world on all the social media sites

Don't mean to interrupt the excitement about O2, but, while we are waiting for more info, let's talk about the individual songs from the show over in the vocal masterclass thread. jerelyn started us off with comments about ITLOTG. Seems a good place to start. Do you have a favorite version? Do you have questions about the song or the singing? Pop on over and share your observations, comments, and videos. adamtopia.com/post/529361/threadWe can look at a different song every two to three days. I will try to start off a new song and then hope others will chime in. We can go in show order, but if someone wants to comment or question about a song out of order, please feel free to do so. Friday-Sunday = ITLOTG since jerelyn already got the ball rolling. Monday we'll listen to/look at Now I'm Here. Be looking at Vids to pick your favorite version.

Maybe coz Brian and Roger are choosing Adam to work with them. While Constantine think they will call him, since he said he has worked with both of the Queen members before. I wonder when did they do that, was it when both of them were mentors on Idol?
Maybe Talon or Q3 knows? Brianmay.com posted this interview of CM but no actual mention of them working with him. brianmay.com/queen/queennews/queennewssep09a.html[/span]August 3, 2009 EXTRACT: Q: What was it like working with Brian May of Queen and those guys? That had to be incredible for you. Maroulis: Oh, clearly. Just legends. I plan on tipping my hat to them in my show at Joe's and the subsequent other venues. It was an incredible experience, and when I did the song on "American Idol," it was still so early on in the season and all, that they hadn't had one song really jump out of the show like that until then, and I was honored to jump into those shoes to do that, but we were just at the beginning of the digital age for downloading and stuff, so they saw the spike in their catalog, and it was the first time that people were saying, "Wow, maybe this 'Idol' thing could really help sell the records of these artists as well," and thereafter you started seeing more artists comply with letting them use their songs on the show, and then you saw more and more artists lining up to perform on the show. Brian May's been amazing. I've gotten to see Queen with Paul Rogers [singing] as well, and it's pretty awesome; it's a whole different sort of take, and I think they did a track with Adam Lambert recently, too, so it's awesome that they've been so supportive and involved with the "Idol" family and the talents in that as well and still to this day. FULL INTERVIEW HERE_____________________ Not sure if this was released by CM and needed their advice or just self-made..... Bohemian Rhapsody-Constantine Maroulis KILLER QUEEN - A Tribute to Queen

Tour well prob end in the UK, so makes sense if it is the O2 in London. I always wanted Adam to perform at Wembley but it prob won't happen.
Queen has been gone from public for quite sometimes and Adam's not big enough to attract people in UK for them to play Wembley. They don't think they can gather enough people to fill in Wembley, unless they set the price cheap enough. Their last shows in London, Queen fans were complaining that the ticket prices were too expensive for them. It's possible that they forgot that it's been several decades since they saw Queen concerts with Freddie, that's why the ticket prices were multiple times now.

Brian May Promises More Queen Tour Dates 2 hour(s) ago | Music News | By Rock Square
Queen wrapped up the North American installment of their tour with Adam Lambert on Tuesday, and even though the band still has dates in South Korea, Japan and Australia ahead of them, guitarist Brian May is already dropping hints about Queen’s post-summer plans. “We are shipping the entire show to Oz,” May wrote on his website this week. “And maybe a bit more besides! Watch out!” And in a recent interview promoted on May’s own Facebook, the legendary guitarist said that he anticipates future shows with Adam Lambert after their scheduled tour comes to an end. So no, this is not exactly a firm commitment to future touring, but something tells us May’s optimism is worth heeding, especially considering the surprisingly positive critical response to Adam Lambert’s presence. May and company were careful, at the beginning of the tour, to reinforce the idea that Lambert would not simply be doing Mercury impressions night after night, and it would seem that the American Idol vet’s fresh perspective on the classic material has been going down well with fans, too.
As for Lambert’s vision of the future, it sounds like he’d be happy to keep his Queen gig indefinitely.
“I’m completely in awe of the Queen phenomenon,” Lambert proclaimed. “The thought of sharing the stage for a full set in Australia is so beautifully surreal. I’m honored to be able to pay my respects to Freddie’s memory; he’s a personal hero of mine, and I am deeply grateful for the chance to sing such powerful music for fans of this legendary band. I know this tour will be a huge milestone for me, and with the support of Brian, Roger and the rest of the band, I feel like magic will be on display.”
