Luke Easton 3ku1 1h @adamlambert Third album well possibly be delayed till 2015 to accommodate the Queen Tour www.clickmusic.com/news/article/adam-lamberts-third-studio-album-may-now-have-an-early-2015-release-date …

Adam Lambert's third album has been a talking point among fans and critics since the release of his acclaimed Trespassing album in 2012. But while originally slated for a 2014 release, it now looks like the LP may be delayed until early 2015 to accommodate the huge success of his tour with Queen. Adam had previously said of a 2014 release date for his new album: "In theory, yes. If not, something is seriously wrong!" But the unprecedented success of the Queen + Adam Lambert tour across North America has caused Roger, Brian and Adam to extend the run of dates. What was initially just a handful of live dates across the United States and Canada has now grown to include dates in Australia, New Zealand and Asia. And Brian May said there will likely be more throughout Europe and the United Kingdom. With more dates being planned, a source tells us that Adam's original 2014 release date could be pushed back to early 2015 in order to factor in his work with the band and the demands of the tour schedule. We've reached out to Adam's label for an official comment, but hadn't received a response at the time of writing. He has been working on material with heavyweights like Max Martin in Sweden and revealed that his work with Queen has liberated him even more on the record, opening him up to a more experimental style this time around. One thing's for sure, the Glamberts are already salivating over the prospect of new music from him. This calendar is lovely, but I can't help but think that Cassie, if she chooses to do so, could create a BLOCKBUSTER calendar with the THOUSANDS of pictures available from the QAL tour. Hmmmm I was just thinking about that. The photos here are stunning, but there is only one per page, and they are all posed. I like many of the candids and action photos from the tour, as well as the color shots. Plus, there are so many touching, compelling, emotional shots. Yeah, I may have to make a calendar for 2015 as well. No question - there are so many fantastic images from the tour that there could easily be a separate calendar for each of the songs they performed! It'd be a very tough job to pick out just 12 shots from this treasure lode. ETA: What if each page of the tour-themed calendar also included the highlights from the show where each photo was taken? It could draw on the list of highlights Jablea started.

I've enjoyed everything about QAL. It has been a great ride. And to watch Adam get more comfortable in his own skin with each performance bought such joy each show got better and better. He truely is a STAR a bright beautiful STAR.

Oh, I really like this calendar. And black and white photography in general. And we uh'd and ah'd over most of these pictures from this photo shoot, when we first saw them.
I think it is more so, that right now, we are so full from all the vibrant and colorful images from this tour, that we are a bit biased, maybe? Just in a different head space for now? Which is totally ok, of course to be on cloud nine from the liveliness and the success of what we have just witnessed, but when I think forward towards A3 and what it can be or what to hope for, then this calendar tells me more than pictures from the tour ever can.
Which does not mean that I do not love or will not love Cassie's calendar too, if she chooses to make one. It is just a different thing, imo.
Btw, I like calendar pages with just one image on it. Or maybe two, to allow for portrait formatted pictures, rather than everything being landscape only. When I buy post cards, I tend to buy the ones with one big picture, rather than those that have 10 different tiny pics on them. Just a matter of preference, I guess.
A few days ago, somebody asked. How can Adam go from the richness of this band, these songs and these performances, back to his band and the smaller stages and how can this transition work? Imo, the best Adam could do, is do a 180 and, for example, do some small environment acoustic concerts for a change. I hope, he does not do them for radio only anymore, but rather offers that as some kind of mini tour. But I think, going for contrast is the best way to step out of the shadow of this summer. His vocals are out of this world, and they deserve to be heard by themselves (ie. with acoustic instrumentation)
And if I think of something like that, then these pictures would go with that perfectly, imo. I am looking forward to this calendar now. High quality pics - Lee Cherry does very good work and captures Adam's soul, I love his work.
