Haribert, I am with you, on both your posts.
a) Adam has the financial resources to take as long as he needs to. No label breathing down his neck (as fans, that is the good news as well as the bad news, actually)
b) My best guess is, that I expect him to jump on board with whoever this 'new label' is, when A3 is done. The official relationship would begin with that label's acceptance of A3, and then that label will drive distribution and promotion from thereon out. Given that there were no upfront costs for the label, this album acceptance is not as big a deal as with traditional big label contracts, but it still constitutes an alignment of activities and resources going forward.
Yes, KP's label is at this point my first guess, also. But I also think there are a few more branches on that tree. The extent to which Shoshanna's growing collection of artists that she managerially represents has anything to do with this, is on of the big questions in my mind. Have no idea whether there is any connection, just speculating here.
c) I think that Adam knows that his promotion needs to be visual in nature and not radio oriented. That costs money. He probably plans for that. I really am looking forward to that.
d) Everything points towards Adam not being quite sure about his album yet. Clearly, working with the Max Martin team gave him some good material, as he says, but I don't get the impression, that he walked out of there with lightning in a bottle. Maybe, he walked out of there with major doubts about the overall direction. We know that Roger will lean on him to make a rock album and lots of fans want that too - not sure that Adam does. Nile and Avicii made a few dance tracks (disco, house, EDM, whatever) with him. MM probably developed pop tracks with him. So, how is Adam supposed to pull it together and tie a bow around it? He clearly feels emboldened to make a multi-genre album again, but he still needs to create a cohesive whole and not just a collection. I think, Adam's question will have to be, who is able to successfully help him with that.
e) I expect most of the new QAL date announcements to be for 2015. But, I think that Queen found that i-Heart event as a jumping off point for positioning a further engagement with radio, promoters, tour organizers, etc...to be a very effective way to position a tour in a market that just on its own was not asking for a Queen tour in 2013. I see them creating similar jumping off multi-media events for themselves for UK and for Europe. And while Summersonic probably provides this kind of event for them for Japan, I am thinking that they would need a bit more, if they want to tackle anything in Asia outside of Japan/Korea in the future. My guess is, that we will see these jumping off kind of TV events still in 2014, but the actual resulting tours in 2015. I also interpreted Brian's various mysterious statements about announcing some extensions, to be pointing in this direction. We shall see.

Luke Easton 3ku1 1h @adamlambert Third album well possibly be delayed till 2015 to accommodate the Queen Tour www.clickmusic.com/news/article/adam-lamberts-third-studio-album-may-now-have-an-early-2015-release-date …
POSTED 31ST JULY 2014 IN NEWS, ADAM LAMBERT | BY CLICKMUSIC NEWS DESK Adam Lambert
Adam Lambert's third album has been a talking point among fans and critics since the release of his acclaimed Trespassing album in 2012. But while originally slated for a 2014 release, it now looks like the LP may be delayed until early 2015 to accommodate the huge success of his tour with Queen. Adam had previously said of a 2014 release date for his new album: "In theory, yes. If not, something is seriously wrong!" But the unprecedented success of the Queen + Adam Lambert tour across North America has caused Roger, Brian and Adam to extend the run of dates. What was initially just a handful of live dates across the United States and Canada has now grown to include dates in Australia, New Zealand and Asia. And Brian May said there will likely be more throughout Europe and the United Kingdom. With more dates being planned, a source tells us that Adam's original 2014 release date could be pushed back to early 2015 in order to factor in his work with the band and the demands of the tour schedule. We've reached out to Adam's label for an official comment, but hadn't received a response at the time of writing. He has been working on material with heavyweights like Max Martin in Sweden and revealed that his work with Queen has liberated him even more on the record, opening him up to a more experimental style this time around. One thing's for sure, the Glamberts are already salivating over the prospect of new music from him. I was afraid to comment because I don't like being negative. I actually cried this morning after reading. And cried and cried. I'm just SO STARVING for NEW Adam music (not covers). First the delay in Trespassing because Adam fell in love (a good thing) and that changed the direction on his album. Based on the bonus tracks from Trespassing, his original album was probably FABULOUS. (I love the bonus tracks the best of all his songs on Trespassing.) And now, a delay on Era#3 because Queen is changing his direction (another good thing). I do have a question though... How can music worked on in 2013 and spring of 2014 still be current in 2015?
