Houselady thanks for bringing this great article over for us. Adam is wise beyond his years....period!!. And he is an interviewer's dream. I bet anyone that had the pleasure of interviewing Adam would want to continue to seek him out for more interviews. One of the things I frequently read about Queen is that they were considered the intelligent rock band. That all the members were well educated and articulate. So fascinating that Adam can carry on that tradition with them. And those photos. Oh boy.

What is this? Can they get away with this? And who's art work are they using? LAMBERTLUST @lambertlust 13m Bootleg Queen + Adam Lambert Tour DVDs for sale on #eBay
This is why most of the fan videographers do not want to give their raw video footage to anyone - for fear that it will end being used like this. These are from that guy in Argentina. Except for the Kiev & IHR DVDs, they are using downloads from the available YouTube videos. Or the Argenine guy could even be using the multi-cam videos from the QueenZone person. The QueenZone person is giving his multi-cam DVDs away as FREE torrent downloads. We are working on a way to make them available in a non-torrent downloadable format, with instructions for writing to a DVD, but it will take some time. And you will need to be able to download 1 GB files. However, I have also talked to someone who says that she was able to get a better quality DVD from a YouTube download of one of the multi-cam DVDs than from the pre-made DVD files shared via torrent. (She means better image quality. Audio quality is downgraded by YouTube, but she says that she cannot tell the difference.) We have been discussing the technical reasons for this, but surfice it to say that there is still work to be done to come up with the best way to do these things. Also, I think there will eventually be some remakes of some of the multi-cam videos as more videos are being uploaded to YouTube and better audio becomes available. Also, if you can download 500MB files, follow some how-to instructions (including installing free software), and have a PC that can burn DVDs, there are much better DVDs available of the 2012 stuff that what this guy from Argentina is selling!

While we're at birthdays and cakes, I've been looking for a perfect chocolate cake recipe for my princess's birthday, and since one of the ingredients is always 'buttermilk', which there isn't even a word for in Serbian, let alone buttermilk itself, I've been wondering if it can be replaced with some other milky substance? Also, what is a 'cup', in measurements? Is it 250 ml? How do you measure, for example 1 and 3/4 of a cup of flour? I really don't get it. I'm desperate for grams and kilograms:))) Also, I've noticed a major difference between cakes in US and here: your biscuits are really thick, with a thin layer of frosting, it's like bread; whereas here, it is quite the opposite. Some cakes don't have biscuit at all, and if they do, it's very thin. The only exception that I know is the famous sacher cake:))) ETA/// Among other unknown ingredients to me are granulated sugar and kosher salt:) I see you have been given some helpful links. Talk about cultural differences. I'm interested to know what a biscuit is for you. I think most Americans a biscuit is a small bread food with no frosting. They are typically served with a meal. In some areas (South, not to reopen what is defined as a Southern state), gravy is served over them. I have a feeling that your use of the word "biscuit" is different from ours. I have heard of cookies sometimes called biscuit, but they are usually imported from Europe. ................. Funnily enough, I had this very conversation with supardu and finkfan just last week when I was still enjoying American hospitality during my amazing Qbert experience. Biscuits to us are thin, crisp baked snacks, sweet or savoury that snap when broken. Here in the UK we have what are my favourite little chocolate treats: 'Jaffa Cakes'. They are only about a centimetre thick and are made up of a layer of fairly crisp sponge, and orange jelly and a half coating of chocolate. I remember reading a definition once, given when someone asked "are they cakes or biscuits?" The answer is: A cake goes hard when it's stale; a biscuit becomes soft. In the UK, this is the truth, honest.........and Jaffa Cakes are cakes...........and delicious :D

This should be the album that Love Kills will be on: BrianMaycom @brianmaycom 3h UNCONFIRMED REPORT Accrdng to @nme: Producer @queenwillrock Album ft #FreddieMercury #MichaelJackson vocals revealed bit.ly/1pxcR9d**Sat 02 Aug 14** PRODUCER OF NEW QUEEN ALBUM FEATURING FREDDIE MERCURY AND MICHAEL JACKSON IS REVEALED (UNCONFIRMED) REPORTEDLY according to NME.com 2 August 2014 William Orbit is overseeing songs for probable pre-Christmas release William Orbit has confirmed he is producing Queen’s new album based on unreleased vocals by late singer Freddie Mercury. Orbit announced the news in a tweet which said: “Am definitely working with QUEEN. Amazing songs. That’s all I’m saying for now. Watch this space.” Queen guitarist Brian May confirmed in May that he and drummer Roger Taylor were working on the album, which is likely to be called ‘Queen Forever’ and is believed to be released before Christmas. “We had to start from scratch,” May told BBC Radio Wales of the new recording sessions. “Knowing how it would have happened if we'd finished the songs, I can sit there and make it happen with modern technology. It's quite emotional. It's the big, big Queen ballads and the big, big epic sound." May added that Mercury’s vocals for the album were recorded in the 1980s. Orbit, who has produced Blur, Madonna and Britney Spears, previously announced in July 2013 that he was producing a duet between Mercury and Michael Jackson, which is likely to feature on the new Queen album. Mercury and Jackson recorded three unreleased songs during the sessions for Jackson’s classic 1982 album ‘Thriller’. The three songs were subsequently re-recorded, but not as Jackson/Mercury duets. ‘Victory’ and ‘State Of Shock’ were sung by The Jacksons on their 1984 album ‘Victory’, with ‘State Of Shock’ featuring Mick Jagger singing what would have been Mercury’s vocals. ‘There Must Be More To Life Than This’ is on Mercury’s 1985 solo album ‘Mr Bad Guy’. Jackson and Mercury’s demo of ‘State Of Shock’ can be heard below. It isn’t known which of the three songs will feature on the new album. The new album will be Queen’s second to feature vocals based on unreleased Mercury vocals since the singer’s death in 1991. ‘Made In Heaven’, released in 1995, featured bassist John Deacon, but he has since left the band and won’t feature on the new album. Queen have also released an album, 2008’s ‘The Cosmos Rocks’, featuring Free’s Paul Rodgers as singer. Rodgers left in 2009, with American Idol winner Adam Lambert Queen’s vocalist since 2012.

Appears to be a blogPulse Pause Moments – Adam LambertWritten by Tracy on August 2, 2014 Categories: Pulse Pause Moments tracycooperposey.com/pulse-pause-moments-adam-lambert/This month’s pulse pause was so unexpected and from such a wonderfully different source that my usual TV/Film inspirations. My son emailed me one Monday. Doing anything tomorrow night?I replied that no, I didn’t have anything on. Well, now you do. I have two tickets for you, for the Queen concert.Blow me standing, as Queen might even say. I couldn’t find anyone to go with (Mark would rather watch paint dry than Queen live) – so my son went with me. I confess I had never heard of Adam Lambert until that moment, and figured he was the opening act, and also, by-the-by, who would be filling in for Freddie Mercury? I went to the Roger Waters concert last year, and while it was good, even brilliant, it was so polished, rehearsed and computerized, that you were left feeling that you hadn’t so much attended a concert, as you had watched a micro-managed performance. Queen was the complete opposite. Oh, they were rehearsed and smooth and there were some lasers and stuff, but they relied nearly completely on their music and playing to entertain. Even my son, who thought he would be bored out of his brain a) enjoyed himself and b) recognized far more of the songs than he thought he would and c) confessed that he finally understood what a live rock concert should be – and that Queen had delivered on that score. There were guitar solos and a stunning two-set drum solo (Roger Taylor and his son on the other set). And there was Adam Lambert. As a fill-in for Freddie Mercury, I think Lambert was perfect. He had the vocal range and he had the power. He was openly and flamboyantly gay, which put just the right twist on the songs (I loved “Killer Queen” – when he lolled on a chaise longue to sing the song). But mostly, I was impressed with the power of his singing. I get shivers down my back when I hear really good singers, especially live, and because Lambert and the songs, and the history of Queen fit so well together, I found myself screaming like a teenager and having the time of my life.
