I just do not understand the stereoscope pictures that Brian takes. Is something supposed to happen if you stare at them long enough? They create a three d effect. Focus on the space between the two pictures. Relax your eyes letting them almost cross. Not an intense stare. The two images will pull together and because they are not actually identical will create the three d image. For me the two original images do not disappear, the three d one forms between them. It take a bit of practice but does work.

I mean I'm able to see the 3-D-effect in pics like this one ... fines-welt.de/3d/3d8%5B1%5D.jpg... but I don't see anything like this in those stereoscope pics?! The deer in the forest are nice. Haven't seen one of those in ages. It really is the same principle but with the stereoscope your point of focus has to be more precise. You have to be Centered directly between the two images as opposed to the these where you (or least I do) look at the whole image.

Those never worked either. IDK why.

I am going to try focusing on the white space between the two but I don't have high expectations.

I actually grew up in Orange, which is right on the Louisiana border. Lots of relatives from Louisiana, my great great grandmother only spoke Cajun French! She lived to be in her late 90s and I have memories of listening to her speak when she came to visit.
