Regarding his new tattoo on his upper left arm, I wonder if he will get some more ink while he's in Osaka or Tokyo. He had visited Three Tides Tattoo Parlor in August 2012 (they have locations in both cities). There's a 5-day break between Japan and Australia, with flight time about 11 hours. So there's time, if he's going to. Does Rufus have any tattoos?   |

Thanks for that. How did you end up meeting Atoppers? Had you known them previously or just ask? Hi- I had not known the group in Philly ahead of time, but saw after I signed up that mmmgoodcracker (who I met in London) was also going so we had met before. When I knew I was going to the QAL Philly show solo I thought I would check to see if there was a get together. I checked the member concert thread and saw a get together organized by a member, got in touch, got added to the list, and showed up. Glad I did, I met new members in Philly that I ran into at later shows in the next week. That's great. I sure would like to meet some Atoppers sometime. There was a last-minute attempt at Mohegan 1 to organize a meet-up for dinner, but the place was soooo big and I didn't know who to look for. |

Everyone was so warm and friendly and it was fun to fit the faces to the online identities. I hope Adam's career gives up more opportunities for Atop meetups in the future. In contrast I had attended a larger meetup with Adam fans from several different online groups before the GNT concert and found it a bit intimidating coming to the dinner on my own. People were friendly but I felt like a bit of an outsider. |
