Rob also assists Adam back stage....he was videoed escorting Adam from the dark recesses behind the stage (from a change area I presume). He was carrying a flashlight and directing it at the floor and the stairs, to assist Adam in moving back to the stage proper. I checked on Rob before and his company has also done the cost effective set designs, lights etc.for Adam's touring. My guess is they have made a connection and Adam likes him, so hires him for this role as well. He knows his way around the technical side of things on a tour. (like the help with the microphone.  Just like the drummer has drum tech, guitar player a guitar tech.etc.) I think Rob is a DMG employee assigned to Adam! Although, probably by Adam's request! Yes, the backstage Rob works for DMG and is Adam's PA. When I asked him what he did, told me "I take care of Adam". He is very nice, really good looking, and professional. He handles everything from logistics to press access to Adam. Adam has a separate tech person who is employed by the tour. I do not know his name. who takes care of his mike, etc. |

I think Rob is a DMG employee assigned to Adam! Although, probably by Adam's request! Rob Valenti is listed on the tour program as Adam's assistant. He was not listed with the DMG management team in the Thank You's; he was listed separately. (I do not know details ...I guess there could be a possible sub contracting by DMG.) I had previously googled Rob to check him out. I just assumed it was the same Rob Valenti.  And, I just checked again, and his business website has changed and seems to be under construction, so I cannot find the Adam/client connection part. I think it was the WAG tour. (designed the set, acted like a tour manager or some such title) This is the site that comes up now www.mvpshows.com/about.htmThe Robert Valenti on this site is not Adam's Rob. Different person. I met Adam's Rob. And he is a personal manager/PA not a production person. Adam's Rob is much better looking!  ETA: It would be typical for the artist's management company to employ his personal assistant. Either that or Adam could do it through one of his companies. He would almost certainly (99.9999% sure) not hire someone directly. I was told Rob worked for Adam's management company which I assumed meant DMG but it could be some other arrangement. In any case, he is not a production guy. |

The white-haired man traveling w Adam is not Rob? Confused. He never looks happy (he doesn't need to but normally the Adam magic spreads, cf. Brian and Roger).

I am not sure what this refers to but Adam's assistant, Rob, seemed busy to me and professional. I saw him many times and met him on two occasions. He was a very nice, pleasant person when I spoke with him -- and that was before concerts when things backstage were somewhat tense. ETA: If you are referring to this photo of Rob...  He is much better looking live. He looks like hie is caring a lot of luggage here -- while Adam talks to fans. That is what a tour PA does. |
