Forecast is looking impossible for a performance. So sad! What happens as far as refunds? Paying the bands? Does the venue or do the organizers have insurance for such an occurrence? SUMMERSONIC does not give refunds -- *Absolutely no refunds for line up changes or cancellations. www.summersonic.com/2012/english/No matter what happens, Queen + Adam Lambert will get paid. They have incurred all the expenses just about already. ETA: If it stops raining -- it is going to be 83 degrees F and 90%+ humidity. Floppy hair alert!!

Okay, just "what if....." They can't perform their normal set, but like Big New World, decide to do an acoustic number or two for the crowd, just Brian on guitar, Roger on drums and Adam s pure voice? Talk about magical! It looked like Big New World was using a microphone ...would that be allowed with the rain? Hmmm if no microphone.....how far would sound carry in that environment? Roger may have to be soft on the drums though. Haha
What a coup if they could carry off a few songs.

But Adam is pretty much nuts sometimes and the concert was 80% over when it started raining. He kept going. No one left. And I swear he chased the rain away! A mike is the least of their worries -- the Queen sound system and the amp banks will get wet -- and that would be very ugly. There were electric cords all over the stage in NA. It would be dangerous for anyone to be on stage if it is pouring rain. And there is no chance Brian is playing the Red Special in the rain. There are still 6 hours.

Think Cassie and I were just "dreaming" of an acoustic set...no red special or mic! Dreamers versus reality. Cross fingers for fair weather to filter back.

leecherry 7 minutes ago · Maishima Arena Dude! @agreatbigworld Set got canceled due to crazy rain and wet electrical gear...but they didn't take it lying down! They did Say Something on the Uke. Acoustic. Crowd went batshit crazy! It was a magic moment. instagram.com/p/rvqF6xDzh7/So Lee Cherry is photographing from the stage. Nice. Yes, Lee is traveling with GBW

The odd spot of rain is navigable but torrential downpours and lightning... yikes. Cancellation would be disappointing for fans and band alike I suspect... wonder if they are trying to figure out a plan B.

Do you think there is any chance they might just delay the concert? By 10 pm the rain chance goes down to 60% and by 11pm only 50%. Would they do that? Could they?

I think I know what happened! Two nights ago Adam spat some "champagne" from the Seoul stage. Now it is all landing on Osaka...
