I think the correct phrase is "pass the buck" but this is Adam so who knows what was said,

At ~0:11, after he introduces Rufus, Adam says, ""I'm doing this for him 'cause...you know, you can't have me, ladies. Sorry." And then he says, "Gotta pass the ______." And Brian does a little wa wa on the guitar, like after a ribald comment. It sounds like "truck" or "fuck" to me. Any other guesses? Or better ears? he says "pass the bucket" |

I think the correct phrase is "pass the buck" but this is Adam so who knows what was said, I think he says "pass the buck," too, but emphasizes the word "buck" to imply another, rhyming play on words. |

I think he was playing on another word ending with UCK intentionally. Naughty boy. |
