#Queen was so absolutely, completely amazing tonight. I was sceptical about #Adamlambert doing the vocals but he did a magnificent job. I had so much fun and also #rufustaylor is a babe. I stole this photo from someone else who went cause I wasn't sitting this close, so props to them. Will post some of my own tomorrow. #brianmay #rogertaylor #queentour2014

Credit goes to @alalwayz for the photo(pic deleted) This pic is not from Sydney. Roger didn't have gold pants, he had white pants according to other pics. Also the pic 'owner' alalways says 'not from Sydney' in the comments (but not where she actually took the photo). ETA Now the original post is deleted... IDK... I deleted the pic too but left the praising comments. |

I've just got home and quickly skimmed the thread. Thank God you guys got a FANTASTIC stream. I actually feel dazed - and it's not from the two glasses of champagne I had. Adam sang a love song to Sydney in I want to break free (perhaps he met someone lovely during his short stay - a girl can hope anyway). I was totally unprepared for tonight - it was indescribable - I had AWESOME seats, the people around me were AWESOME. The two Queen fans that I went with were beside themselves. They were actually dumbstruck. And I will tell you one of their very un-politically correct comments - "Adam's voice is better than Freddie's". I have done the only thing possible after tonight - I just bought a ticket for tomorrow night's concert. I know you all understand why I had to do it. Hopefully there'll be an abundance of great videos for you all - and pronto  . I went to both Toronto shows - they were two weeks apart. I would go again and again as well as driving to border towns in the USA to see the show. |

Oh my goodness, this concert is going to be rife with nuances, I can tell already. Not just a flex all the way to the floor back bend, but in SLO MO! Going down AND coming up!! What kind of control does that take? What other purposes could it be used for? The mind boggles. ~1:31 Is it just me or are they juicing it up for this concert? It seemed that the tempo was faster on this song and Adam did some cool moves that I don't remember seeing him do even before the amazing bendy thing. Seems they know it is being recorded for posterity. |
