O gawd!! I know Adam probably loved that and loved being on stage with Gaga, but that was all kinds of horrible. I was cringing the whole time. What disappoints me is that this is the video that will be all over the news instead of one of Adam's alone. Just ugh!!

Why all the hate for the Gaga. It was a quickly put together gig, just enjoy the press. It certainly would be a dream of Adams to sing with Gaga, Brian absolutely adores her and she adores Queen. I think Adam and Queen would be really disappointed in all the dissing.
I wish the concert that was recorded was Perth. The Sydney concerts just have sit-down boring audiences, both of them really. Won't make for good audience shots. I think Adam is amazing that he can keep his energy always up in spite of the lack of enthusiasm from the audience. It seems the reviewers really play off the audience participation. The reviews seemed so good for the concerts where the audience was over-the-moon with enthusiasm and praise.

Ok gonna put this out there ahead of the show - I know people are happy for Gaga to join them for a song yada yada yada. And it must have been at Dr Bri's behest but the small mean part of me doesn't like the idea of Adam having to yet again step back so some bigger name can have their five minutes with Queen. It's not enough he has to compete with a dead man every night now madam is going to horn in and you can just predict the reviews and what focus will be. Yes I get it will be good press exposure. Yes I get reflected glory. Still don't like it. Ok done now. #carryon. #enjoyshow #savingmyselfforFriday Agree. Maybe if she knew the words. |

Here's AOBTD with Gaga....Full performance. HE was great! THIS IS SO BAD, IT'S GOOD! It also shows me several things! Adam is truly the frontman! When he did that countdown, on the B stage, to bring the song back on track, I LOL! He got the song & band back! He is such a generous performer with his partners. No surprise, we have seen it before. He and Gaga were having fun! Her hugs looked genuine and she gave Adam props! Respect was shown!  And, oh ya! Nate is not looking so bad now!  Hahahaha. I was thinking the same thing. "And I thought Nate was bad. Gaga made him seem like Caruso." Seriously, are we not allowed to say that Gaga was TERRIBLE vocally? Because Adam loves her? Because she is a STAAAAAHR? Because she is an acclaimed performance artist? It wasn't a good performance. It wasn't a "not bad for having only one rehearsal" performance. It was painfully bad. If you were to remove Adam's voice from the mix and just hear Gaga alone, it would have been much worse. He did as much as he could to save the number vocally. It is not uncommon for musicians to attend the shows of other musicians, and be invited to sit in for a song or two. Particularly in jazz, it happens all the time. A guest doesn't even have a sound check rehearsal before hand. They just step in and go with it. As long as they know the song (and everyone on the planet knows AOBTD) the results are enjoyable. Not a polished, pre-planned performance, but musically good stuff. At Gaga's level of fame, and considering the respect she has gotten from other performers, and knowing that she HAS musical training, I would expect much more from her. IDGI |

Pretty much every review in North America had a video with it. There have been plenty with just Adam! This is a whole new press cycle for a tour that is winding down! |

I'm sorry, but Gaga looked and sounded like a high school amateur out there. I think that was a huge mistake and that is the performance out of all these wonderful concerts that will probably go viral. |

jomama or nikki or anyone else who was there: what is the red patch of what looks like a bunch of empty seats right in the center first level above the floor? (extreme right on this picture)...are these seats? I can't imagine they would'n get sold...so what is that area?
