Also, Gaga stayed and enjoyed the whole concert, I'm sure it was a great time for her just being there, and she got to see Queen and Adam put on what is being called the best rock concert ever. Win Win Win all the way around IMO.

thanks for posting t his link, a really great article. Is there any way to find that 2 part BBC special on Bri and Rog that is mentioned? - wasn't there, but so remember that Texas gig. No one can say Adam hasn't paid his dues! I have two documentaries bookmarked to watch sometime. Haven't watched any of either of them. One is on Roger and the other on Brian. Win Win Win all the way around IMO. I think it was great that she stayed for the who concert and clearly had such a great time. It is great for Queen and for Adam. It also proves to me that this was not just a PR stunt for her and she is a really Queen fan. ** Also, the photo of Queen with Lady Gaga and Adam in the middle, it the first time the crown and leopard print suit looked sedate. And anything that can make that silly suit look good is OK with me! (The crown is perfect on Adam. He should just have one around all the time -- although I think he would look better in an Emerald crown. ) |

jomama or nikki or anyone else who was there: what is the red patch of what looks like a bunch of empty seats right in the center first level above the floor? (extreme right on this picture)...are these seats? I can't imagine they would'n get sold...so what is that area? Those seats were obstructed because of the camera and were draped. I spoke to a lovely lady and her daughter before the concert who had bought seats in that area and they upgraded her to the floor because they closed that section off. |

I imagine a drummer's hazard, especially one from the time before ear monitors and ear protectors. :(
Thank you so much for posting this article about Roger! I too am partially deaf with destroyed nerves in my inner ear and also have difficulty following conversations in social gatherings. I have a lot in common with Roger in those respects. I also wear a hearing aid, but don't care who knows about it. I truly admire Roger for continuing to live life to the fullest, with gusto and with a smile, as I also try to do. BTW - I can also understand now why he chose not to do the ice-bucket thing - I wouldn't have done it either.
