thanks for the on the scene analysis nikki! I LOVE Roger, and really hope to see some good vid of "A Kind of Magic". I read in that article posted a couple pages back (about his hearing problem) that he has a 3-1/2 octave range. IMO Roger doesn't get near enough credit, mentions and KUDOS as he should.
You're welcome . I really noticed the harmonies more the second concert - the first concert was about drinking Adam, Brian and Roger in. They are so good and the whole spectacle is so overwhelming that they seem simply part of the fabric of the concert. They were breathtaking. I really like the fact that Magic gave Roger a chance to have the focus simply on him and his vocals. His voice was so strong and rich and he sang it with all his heart. It was truly beautiful.
If you want another Roger fact - Adam missed his cue at the start of Under Pressure. Roger was left singing by himself for longer than usual and Adam had to do a mini-trot up the stage to catch up. He was looking around wondering where Adam was and looked relieved when Adam FIANALLY arrived. Adam was smirking. The audience wouldn't have noticed.

It's happened a few times, maybe 3-4. Surprised it hasn't been more often since that is his FULL costume change!
Queen with Adam Lambert was phenomenal. His voice is out of this world. Inspiration. An ear-gasm and so much musical genius-ness on stage. It was beautiful to see Brian May & Roger Taylor giving it heart and soul and incredible music. instagram.com/p/sNFa61KLZD/ Thanks @straightupross for the free tix @adamlambert #queen #adamlambert #somebodytolove #youbettersang
I'm going to bring my own shoes & they are going to be fierce. Adam Lambert
Thanks geezlouise.....I hadn't seen that complete WATC vid either, only parts. I was overlooking FB posts on twitter, not realizing they were complete vids.
I don't have nerve to post this anywhere else, but gotta say, never made it past 2:03 mark on 3:34 video of AOBTD. It is painful. Adam is working so hard to keep momentum going and getting little or no help from duet partner. If he's excited it happened, so am I, otherwise I am appalled. Am I being overly harsh? I seriously don't know.

Finally watched it. Well it was both a HOT MESS and fun. I give props to Gaga for her go for broke performance. She is imo a great singer songwriter and a diva. I think she was totally lost on this song but hid it well and covered up the iignorance of the lyrics. And trusted Adam as her partner. Adam seemed jazzed about it all so yay but part of it looked weirdly like he was leading a toddler around. If she wasn't a great performer then I think she wouldn't have been able to pull off the HOT MESS in the fun way that she did. This only proves again, Queen songs are hard to freakin' sing! Adam makes it look easy lol.
Eta: am so glad it was this song and not STL.

Hey Savvy! Let me suggest you watch the full 4:16 verson a time or two and I feel you'll be fine with it. Don't focus on her vocals so much. After watching it, I think you'll find that Adam was totally fine with it. He winged his way thru it, had fun with it, and the crowd, like Nikki said, enjoyed it.
And let me holler an early ROLL TIDE to you ahead of Saturday's game!
"He has something about him, an aura, a kind of ‘dark Elvis’ vibe—and what a voice!" Roger Taylor of Queen.
