Katy bar the door! Hang on for dear life! Batten down the hatches! Ride out the storm!
If you saw Adam coming at you with that expression, would you not also lose your pitch! Or your ability to speak! OMG grandduchess, you are too funny! I was trying to speed read through the thread and came to that pic above and I screeched to a stop and thought the same thing as you!! Then I hit right-click-save so hard, my laptop almost punched me. Same with this pic, here. Can't see Adam's face, but you don't need to. You know that he's got those laser eyes fixed on Gaga!! OMG And all possibilities of pitch and lyrics go right out the window. I know the feeling When those laser eyes fixed on me (M&G in Helsinki 2012) I got a total blackout At least Lady Gaga could sing

Agree QAlso, Gaga stayed and enjoyed the whole concert, I'm sure it was a great time for her just being there, and she got to see Queen and Adam put on what is being called the best rock concert ever. Win Win Win all the way around IMO. ...Gaga stayed and enjoyed the whole concert and she saw how great Adam is on stage!

One of the comments from the review I posted above: BLSLYNN Aug 28, 2014 at 1:58 pm If your review made a difference I would care, but it doesn’t! You see I experienced the concert, You didn’t! Full houses sold out from North America through NZ! I am living in today’s world and Adam Lambert was Spectacular! He owned the stage and lit it up with his charisma and voice! Oh that voice! No one can compare!! Feel sorry for you! The majority of people loved and saw what was on the stage before them, but your stuck in reverence and cannot see and hear anything but Queen that was with Freddie and missed last night completely and the true audience response. Oh how reviewers memory of what was becomes bigger than life. Especially, when someone dies. Too bad while Freddie lived reviewers did not revere! Your also thinking of how a stadium reacts, not a concert! You just have to look on social media! They don’t know what the hell your talking about! dailyreview.crikey.com.au/queen-and-adam-lambert-live-review-allphones-arena-sydney/11162#.U_6gLeCzsGk.twitter

Much better vid here. Hahaha it's a hoot. Great camerawork in the Q though it's often focused just on Gaga. But like the close-up of her heels. youtu.be/zogEEYZFkz8

The reviewer was careful to praise Adam.

Its ridiclous because you cant make comparisons from now to the 70's and 80's. Different times, expecting Adam to recreate the same energy, synnergy, and "Queen" in 2014. Its an unrealistic expectation. The reason why Freddie and co have or seem to have more raw charisma, or stage presence compared today. because back then they had a mystique, and a sense of animinity. These days with social media, technology etc. Everyone knows everthing about everyone. Partic when it comes to celebs. Back in Freddies day they had a sense of mystery, not so much these days, ppl are just so much more informed These days. So Adam does have raw charisma comparitively, its just different.

I'm sure this has already been said a billion ways - what a hot MESS! Damn did Adam look super fine or what? Yes. Yes. Yes. That is exactly what it was like. And that's what made it a spectacle to see live and why the audience loved it. Adam's vocals held the song and Gaga really went for it and nobody seemed to notice or mind any glitches. Gaga was having a blast on stage and people responded. Adam was having a blast onstage and people responded. There were no WTF looks on peoples' faces. Analysing the vocals is just a different way of looking at the performance to get a whole picture of what happened. I really hope there are some good videos of this concert. Even with a lower-energy crowd than on Tuesday, the whole show was filled with unbelievable vocals and performances from Adam, Brian and Roger. Roger's voice was truly in fine fettle and he was quite magical (no pun intended). The first Sydney concert was as wonderful as you get - from the band and the audience. There are still concerts to come and if they keep this up who knows what will happen by the last show. I feel like part of the borg now. I have been assimilated into this force of nature known as Queen + Adam Lambert. Wahaaa! Me too. Resistance is futile!
