The stage production for this tour is beyond description. Remembering when Roger commented on how fantastic it was going to be...UNDERSTATEMENT !!! I would think Adam is overjoyed considering he planned and as I recall, paid from his pocket for the GNT backgrounds etc. The movie-star size screen captures the essence of the Once In A Lifetime concert !!!  |

The Q is everything. At the Katy Perry concert, yes it has an amazing stage and 3D prismatic screen, multiple effects and dancers. But through most of the concert I was straining to actually look at her. Her tour camera peeps focused so much on dancers and props and stuff that you could never see her face except during the acoustic set (and she sounded great during that). It was kind of a shame considering how photogenic she is.
For QAL if this was Roger's idea, as Brian said, it's awesome.
Funny that Roger continues to call Adam "camp Elvis" lol.

Good morning everyone from Melbourne. Just delurking after waking up and realising what a totally amazing experience last night was! My seats were fantastic 3 rows from the front and I'm sorry but I think it took me the first 3 songs before I could move my eyes from Adam and see there were other people on the stage. His voice and presence is mesmerizing and no video can compare. Who wants to live forever had tears in my eyes. Love of my life was so touching with everyone singing with Brian and i thought Roger was great in A kind of Magic. As soon as it started everyone around me leapt to their feet but I was stunned looking around that only the floor was standing. Was this the same at other concerts?
Leaving all I could hear was praise for Adam and how good he was. Wish I had tickets for tonight!
