Katie Purvis @katiemelb 36s Someone clearly told @adamlambert and @drbrianmay about the Melbourne-Sydney rivalry. Always gets a reaction! #QAL lolHaha. Yeah. Brian asked the Sydney crowd if we were Melbourne and got a laugh and a 'booooooo'. It is a friendly rivalry between the two major cities in Australia, similar to the LA - New York dynamic, I would imagine. Our capital city, Canberra was built equidistant between the two cities, just to be fair to both. Speaking of friendly rivalries and competition, we need to know if Korea is still the 'frontrunner'  . ETA, wal, I think Adam said, "this side was a mess in Sydney" (and Adam's right-hand side was at the start, on both nights). |
