Queen + Adam Lambert review: It's not the same without Freddie DateAugust 30, 2014 - 11:02AM Michael Dwyer "...each part of the 'Queen + Adam Lambert' equation was warmly embraced by a full house trying hard not to think about the minus part of the deal." "With all six band members on microphones, the essential harmonic edifice was gloriously real and present....When Lambert took the spotlight though, for a drag show chaise-lounge writhe through Killer Queen and a slightly presumptuous speech thanking us for 'suspending disbelief', the lines between rock, parody and TV talent quest began to get fuzzy." "He caught himself 'vocally masturbating' at one point, as Idols will, but the seasoned pros overplayed too: back-to-back bass, drums and guitar solos tested patience even in the midst of a neon and laser spectacle to shame Pink Floyd...." www.smh.com.au/entertainment/music/queen--adam-lambert-review-its-not-the-same-without-freddie-20140830-10ab6m.htmlThis so-called review of the Melbourne show in the Sydney Morning Herald makes me want to PUKE!!! Dwyer writes that "...each part of the 'Queen + Adam Lambert' equation was warmly embraced by a full house" so he obviously observed that the audience loved the show but then he adds his comment about how they're "trying hard not to think about the minus part of the deal". So how the f*#k does Dwyer know what the audience is thinking??? Has he interviewed them all, or even interviewed just ONE of them? I am almost too upset for words!!! This is one f**** up review!!!!

BrianMaycom @brianmaycom 44s .@queenwillrock +@adamlambert MELBOURNE (2) SET LIST - SAT 30 AUGUST bit.ly/1sRqdgA I wonder why they always note Brian's name next to "'39" -- by now I think they all know that.
Man, I am so wondering what A3 is going to be....can't even guess.
And, what a mind-blowing summer this has been. I can't even imagine these guys coming off of tour and feeling "normal" once again.

Some reviews are just too ridiculous to waste one second of our lives on.

Some reviews are just too ridiculous to waste one second of our lives on. Agreed. His review is the definition of "begrudging." To say the new guy is unremarkable and yet his voice is unwaveringly confident is weird. I bet he's a casual Queen fan only but now feels he's an expert on Freddie. As Brian would say, "bye"

I wouldn't waste my time on reviewers like that....I don't care what he thinks. Tweets like this one is keeping it real for me! Erika Borkoles @erika_Borkoles 3m @adamlambert is a keeper! Superb voice; looks fab in leathers, and is funny. Did right by Freddie! @drbrianmay
