Someone with some $$ should put at ad in the paper with the bad review that is a huge list of positive comments off twitter. I hate that people that didn't see the show are reading that rubbish Bad reviews from people who do not get it are a Queen tradition. No reason for critics to all revise there opinions of Queen now. For some critics, the fact that Queen has Top 40 hits is enough to make them go cray cray. For other, the fact that they genre hop all over the place is disturbing. (Maybe they can't keep up!) Does not matter what a handful of critics say -- with the very notable exception of their 1986 performances -- this is the best reviews Queen have ever gotten. For a real laugh, go check out the US reviews of from 1978! |

That guy who wrote the review is just a snob. Do you know these people who liked some singer or band BEFORE they became famous? Because they knew what's good BEFORE the whole population caught up? Well, he liked Queen BEFORE Bohemian Rhapsody, and everything went downhill from then on.
Not only that, he would never ever let himself enjoy anything that came out of a TV singing competition, because of its innate inferiority. I know how it feels, but I got over myself. Some people will go on being superior (to the point of being deaf to sublime singing), and some will enjoy themselves.

So how the f*#k does Dwyer know what the audience is thinking??? Has he interviewed them all, or even interviewed just ONE of them? I am almost too upset for words!!!  Neither review from The Sidney Morning Herald was stellar. I wonder if Dwyer and Zuel are BFF's and sat together. I disagree with their opinions but at this stage of the game, negative reviews do no harm so whatever....bye |
