That Bohemian Rhapsody posted above is really good. Sounds wonderful with my headphones. Hope this person has more songs to upload to YouTube. Is this the only full song vid we have from Melb 30th? Hopefully a few will come trickling in. It's mid-morning there I think. I think they are all dead from the awesome. Shame they didn't film the two Melbourne concerts instead of the Sydney ones for the possible DVD - it's obvious something really magical happened in these two shows from Brians' response in particular. Maybe it was something like the MSG show vs. the one that followed. Everyone a little nervous about doing a perfect performance, but were able to relax and enjoy the next show. Don't know about the difference in the Oz audiences, though. |

Don't know about the difference in the Oz audiences, though. I think it was mainly the energy of the crowd affecting the performance to be honest. They were really relaxed onstage in Sydney and having a lot of fun. The audience for the first concert was really responsive. The second one, it was more of a passive audience, they wanted to be entertained, rather than participate in the entertainment in my section. And security sending people back to their seats didn't help. You could tell though, that they were aware of the cameras and were performing to them. Adam rarely gave eye contact to the audience right in front of him - he was very much focussed on looking out into the centre of the arena, which is where one of the primary cameras were. They cleared that section for the filming crew. There were cameras everywhere. They were doing heaps of crowd shots moving around in the aisle next to the barrier. Sometimes there would be a camera in the aisle filming you - but I remember one being right in my face during Stone Cold Crazy - you just had to ignore them. ETA: mys*&@^#r - yes, that's what I'm saying. |

It will be edited so that Sydney looks like the best audience to ever be an audience!! They used 20 cameras, so i can imagine they have tons of footage!!

Don't know about the difference in the Oz audiences, though. The acoustics in Allphones Arena (Sydney) are great -- famously so. They recordings and 9 camera feeds for all the Q+AL concerts. They had 20 cameras for Sydney and announced it there so that will probably be the base concert and the audience response shots. The first night is Sydney security was letting people stand up and move to the rail -- and the videos are great. It was the second night (the not-filmed night) that people were sitting for a large part of the show because security was making people to sit down. ETA: I do not care what the reviewers idiots who are paid to attend concerts from Sydney said, videos do not lie and Sydney #1 audience will look great on video. |
