The day had arrived my hubby took the day off work to attend the show with me. I convinced him to leave early as, I didn't want to get caught in traffic and then find ourselves running late. I wanted the whole experience to be relaxed and stress free.
I was very excited and while waiting in line you wouldn't believe it, out of all those thousands of people a fellow ADAMTOPIA was standing right, behind me. How amazing that we should bump into one another. I was so excited I forgot her name (sorry forgive me). She is a bit of a Globe Trotter!!!
We entered bought a Tee Shirt and the beautiful official book and waited for the doors to open.
We were in the floor section only 7 or 8 seats away from the front of the runway, could not believe it nor could my other half. People were very friendly all round chatting to others they had never meet before it was a wonderful atmosphere. It is amazing what music can do!
It took a while for the center to full but eventually it was packed though there were three empty seats in row. Sometimes I think Centers are releasing seats to late.
Boom! Boom! Curtain up yes! On my feet!!! And that’s where we stayed for most of the concert. Only time I sat was for Brian’s Guitar Solo and for WWTLF.
Adams voice was out of this world and did I mention how beautiful he is can’t say it enough. It is so funny how geographically impaired he is telling us all that it is never cold in the Gold Coast he is so funny.
I had many highlights throughout the evening, Brian was nothing short of inspirational. I had read that many thought his Guitar Solo was too long I didn't I loved every minute. The lighting the lasers and how he made that guitar talk un f…in believable. Roger was great I liked his interpretation of AKM I really enjoyed it and his drumming wow! And Rufus (my hubby thought he was great)
I loved every minute Adam was on stage I could have watched him all night, his facial expressions and joy he brings is unexplainable. A small section of side floor people were sitting he said something like “Get the F up off your seat this is a party” everyone stood up immediately he had them eating out of the palm of his hands.
The show ended too quickly for me.
When it came to leave traffic was horrendous it took 30 minutes just to get out of the venue was a real pain in the butt.
We didn't get home until 12.30 was just too tired to write anything the. I said to my hubby “What should I write?” He said tell them it was “It was BLOODY FANTASTIC!” That just about sums it up….
