Retweeted by ADAM LAMBERTladygaga 32 seconden geleden Me and Brian May from QUEEN. They came tonight to the artRAVE and I'm so PROUD of Adam Lambert singing with them. Made me cry during Dope when I saw them all sitting there. I thought about Freddie. what a beautiful photo! Dr. Bri brought a human look out of LG even! (no impact on ADam's Twitter stats so far btw)

Was the crowd not already standing?
I think it's awesome that they went on an outing together.

Good morning.
Misha...thank you for this great video! I'm going to have to go to the MSG thread and watched your vids! Thanks for videoing for us. Did you do a recap for the show that I missed? I'm glad to see GaGa recognizing Queen at her show and they were given a 'standing O'! Also, that she mentioned Adam in her tweet. Now I hope we get a pic of Adam with her. Hi, adamrocks, I did a brief drive-by flail in the concert thread the morning after the show. My friend and I were in New York for a few more days after the concert and I didn't have a chance to read or watch anything until I got home. During the downtime last week, I started catching up on what I missed. Thanks for all your info-packed posts!

He wasn't just singing the song beautifully, he gave it an emotional arc that was unexpected and highlighted the yearning and despair of the song. You could argue that the original version with it's flat monotone delivery is a better example of depression and that may be true but Adam sang of the pathos behind that depression, he made us feel the confusion and longing. To do that, he used everything at his command - soft blue lighting, smoke to blur out detail, pale clothing, a single spotlight on sad seated figure, choreography which pretty much comprised standing and lifting the song to another place, his cadence and highlighting of particular phrases in the song, an ethereal clear tone to his voice that removed a connection to the ground, and although I don't think the last note miss was intentional, it did lend to the poignancy of that final plea for understanding and was ultimately human and perfect. So who else on Idol had ever done that before? The question is rhetorical. LindaG23 Very well said.!! I agree with all the above explanations of why MW touched so many. But I love the above description of the angst of the lyrics matched perfectly with the delivery and setting. For me, it was breathtaking and still is. YES.YES.YES.

Here's my video of "Crazy Little Thing Called Love" from the Madison Square Garden show that I just posted in the concert thread. The song is one of my favorites in the set. It's so much fun. And in the video, you can see Roger's daughter Tigerlily rockin' out on stage, seated behind Rufus. She's having a good time! I thought it was kinda cool to see and wanted to share. Thank you, thank you very much MishaRW for your amazing vids. I can see myself at least in 5 vids cheering in ecstasy. My seat was near the confluence of catwalk and thrust (I have white-black-red colored shirt on). These vids are so great treasure for me. MishaRW! I'm so grateful marks: 2,3; 3,26 (I'm clapping wildly to Brian); 4,3 I was so close to my heroes
