OTT...but last night I stayed with my 87 yr old Mom & she had us watching America's Got Talent. It was the end of the show & I wasn't really paying much attention, reading ATop on my iPad...when I hear the opening bars of WWTLF! I say out loud..."Oh no. Not THAT song". My Mom say, "What's wrong?" I say "Adam owns this song now!". So...Here's this blond singer (Emily West) in a long red gown belting out a credible version of the Queen song. The audience & judges ate it up. She should make it through to the next round on that performance. My Mom thought it was wonderful. Wonderful? I'll show you wonderful...Pulled up Adam & Queen's 2013 "I Heart Radio" WWTLF on the ole iPad. She say's, "Oooh, he looks GOOD!" Then she listens...by the end of the song she was all "Oh....I see!". Mission accomplished. At least Emily was smart enough to choose a killer song, but I am forever spoiled by Adam...in any WWTLF version, any venue, any day! Yes, it certainly is idiotic. Dumb and asinine are two other words that come to mind. Also, ridiculous, ludicrous, absurd, nonsensical, fatuous, silly, inane, and witless. LMFAO at that so-called review!  |
