The fighting between the Madonna fans and the Gaga fans make Idol fanwars look like a lovefest! I usually stay away from both sets of fah-atics but now they are intersecting with my pleasant albeit fierce Adam-centric world of niceness and respect. Seriously and these are not a bunch of 10 year olds -- they are mostly adults and many are men. All I can say is.... FIGHTING! |

The pop diva made one of her dreams come alive as she joined the band that inspired her name in a concert in Sydney. Queen is currently undertaking a world tour alongside acting frontman Adam Lambert, who has continued to impress with his vocal ability and stage presence in the role originally held by Freddie Mercury.During the band’s Wednesday night show at Sydney’s Allphones Arena, Lady Gaga, who’s name was taken from Queen’s hit Radio Gaga, made an appearance in a crown bejeweled skin-tight body suit and an enormous black curly wig that was undeniably channeling Brian May’s hair at the height of his, and its, fame. Gaga joined Lambert on Another One Bites The Dust, giving it their all for the Australian crowd. Even though she didn’t stick around for the song that inspired her name, Lambert had the auditorium lights switched on and sang the chorus of Radio Gaga to the Lady herself, who watched the rest of the show from the crowd.Lady Gaga expressed her joy at having fulfilled one of her lifelong dreams as she took to Twitter “I just played with Queen I’m the happiest girl alive”. Meanwhile, Lambert took the opportunity to thank the Sydney audience for accepting him in the place of the otherwise irreplaceable Freddie Mercury, as he told the crowd “I’d have no idea what I was doing with this music if it wasn’t for the late great Freddie Mercury”.
