I see some refer to LG's wig as a Cher wig, but my impression was that it was a Brian May tribute. It reminds of his hair in all the old Queen pictures. It looks just like one of Cher's famous wigs --- and I think that was MTV (posted on page 1 here) that made that connection. It is an afro wig and really not much like Brian's mane. I believe it is a wig that Lady Gaga has worn before -- at least it looks just like one of her wigs. So maybe it was a tribute and as close as she had in her wardrobe. I think it was just the wig that worked with the total look and her attempt to be neo-funk for ABTD. ETA: Here she is in a "mane" wig....

GREAT indeed! "...Newcomer Adam Lambert, did the impossible, bursting onto the stage with the vocals, charisma and sheer presence that lifted the roof and filled this reincarnation of Queen with cheeky new swagger. Undaunted by inevitable comparison, the young showman immediately nailed the holiest of rock anthems, strutting and controlling the stage as though it were his playground, despite sharing it with the likes of legendary Brian May. ...... There were moments where the image and voice of our idol were worked into the set, beamed into life via vintage clips, captured by the band’s signature overdubbing. Somehow Lambert had to snap the entire audience out of it, and bring us back to the present. He did so with the sheer force of his own personality, incredible energy and constant interaction."

The real question is - HOW did he find /come across it? My guess is he saw all the whining and bitching on Twitter -- and saw this post and favorited it because it was the message he wanted to send. He did not just favorite that tweet randomly -- it was with intent. However he found it, I am so pleased he did. I hope fans take this message from Adam to heart. It does not matter if it is Lady Gaga or Nate Ruess or Freddie, whining about how Adam is treated, or worse, does not help Adam at all. And IMO it does not matter if the comment is on an article, a forum, or one twitter/facebook/social media. If you put out negative energy, it creates negativity.

That was a very clear message- rockstars do not need mommy fans or pearl clutchers posting their nonsense every goddamn where. They are an embarrassment.
