I would rather have a happy, inspired Adam AND a different set of musicians. Suggestions? EHarmony.com? What's that Rolling Stones song from The Big Chill? Oh, right - We Can't Always Get What We Want. We aren't discussing Adam's personal relationships but the building of a multi million dollar career. Somehow everytime new musicians are brought up the idea is shot down by someone who has to pit it against loyalty, friendship and happiness, as if they are mutually exclusive. Now, the discussion about whether Adam can afford a better band is something I am interested in and I certainly don't think it should be dismissed so readily. Surely there are pop rockers out there who have better musical support than Adam. Actually, I think the question should be Does Adam feel a better band and/or supporting muscians are a worthy investment? Frankly I can't imagine after spending a summer with Queen as a band, performers, and song writers, this isn't a question going through Adam's head (and accountant's desk) right now. Apparently you havent been posting much lately either I see. So glad my first post in months has inspired you to join in. Unfortunately it has made me a bit reminiscent of the old days when multiple opinions were welcomed and discussions went deep, without the tendency to stop it all befkore it gets started.

"Finally, you bet we are going to continue to hear Adam Lambert, Queen frontman from his PR team, over and over. This was probably the hardest rock singing assignment in the world and Adam pulled it off. This is a huge achievement for Adam to pull this off." Yes! Major achievement! His team will definitely keep using it! i do get what ljsmacks means though! For years, it seems Adam has had the openly gay qualifier. Even Idol runner up is a qualifier. But the "quality" of Queen frontman is in a different bal park. A great ballpark! I see both the "American Idol runner up" and the "Openly Gay" terms as descriptors that help people who are vaguely aware of Adam, identify him -- not as qualifiers. He is most famous for being on Idol and being Openly Gay. In Germany, they often use "WWFM vocal powerhouse" because that was a big, big hit there. Now we can (hopefully) add Queen Frontman to the list. When reporters include information about Adam being Grammy nominated and having a #1 album, that is new information to most readers. It applies to many successful vocalists and is not an identifier. So what two describers would better describe him and distinguish him from some other male vocalist?

Unfortunately it has made me a bit reminiscent of the old days when multiple opinions were welcomed and discussions went deep, without the tendency to stop it all befkore it gets started. I am a realist. Tommy Joe has been with Adam since 2009. I think he will be with him in 2015. My opinion of Tommy is well known, but I refuse to get my hopes up. >> One thing is sure, Adam knows the difference between a great guitarist and an lesser one. So he clearly made his choice based on other considerations. >> I think Ashley is just fine and I hope she is back with Adam. On the other hand, we get some really wonderful FOAs -- Lee Cherry, Marco, Marcus, Brook, etc. etc. ETA: I would bet that Adam is not thinking about a touring band right now. I am certain he is under the gun to get A3 done and thinking about 2 things -- finishing Q+AL in grand style and getting his album done. He is smart enough to know that a tour is not certain if he doesn't sell A3.

Well, Adam has himself said several times, "openly gay" annoys him because it had nothing to do with his music! The other ones do though!
