That's an utterly brilliant analysis and I'll really be curious to see how it all turns out. The business mantra of the oughts was the necessity to "build a brand," but it's an extremely thin line between a brand (i.e. a "recognizable sound") and a box--I expect Adam would resist the latter intensely.

If anything, his now intimate experience of living Queen's music would have reinforced that. As Talon and Q3 have reminded us, Queen wasn't QUEEN during their own time--the industry respect and widespread appreciation came later. I can speak from experience than other than WWRY blasting out of my dorm windows every Saturday, I wasn't a Queen fan at the time Freddie was alive. I became one much later as the brilliance of their range became more obvious and possibly, because I grew up and became more able to appreciate the complexity and sophistication of their music.

So...how does Adam reconcile his ability to sing anything and everything with the current music market that just wants to find a formula and then hit reload until it finally dies?

This is going to be fascinating, that's for sure.

Yes, considering many of his fans post nasty, hateful things about Adam on his (Adam's) videos.

I remember him complimenting Adam another time in some interview.

I got to sit next to Marc's parent's neighbors who basically watched Marc grow up and they couldn't say enough nice things about him - about how humble he really was and how nice he's always been.

I really think he's genuinely a good guy.

And he does a great job in QE...I've also like some of his other stuff as well. He tries his hand at classical now and again...I think he handles it fairly well
