gif/jif representation of red panda and the bold icon in the reply window: and the picture that starts the thread? Like this: (plus she is w-a-a-ay at the top of my list for getting into my heart and soul with her singing) and house lady? You are killing me, thanks for sharing this. Have to go back and watch the rest because this part just stopped me in my tracks. ~2:34

Sigh. And so it starts. Only 86 people viewing the daily thread this morning. That is less than half of what we have been averaging during the tour. Can the sound of crickets be far behind? Many of you may be reviewing your favorite concert moments on YT in the next few days/weeks. We want to assemble a playlist of "the best of" the QAL tour. The best version, the best video in quality, the most notable. I need YOUR help. If you watch a particularly stunning version of a song, please pop over to the vocal masterclass thread adamtopia.com/board/43/vocal-masterclass and post it in the thread for that song. Add any comments about why it is your favorite, or any questions you have about it. If you lose the link, remember that it is in the Salon under the sub-heading "harmony", and the "vocal masterclass." Thanks for your help.

Maybe it is worthwhile to go with your original idea and start with the opening song for beginning our ideal playlist for 1) best overall quality of the song 2) whackiest playlist - funny or unusual things happening with a particular song (may not apply to all songs) etc. etc. I can think of NIH with the curtain falling down in E Rutherford as pretty whacky. Does anyone remember when Adam started to peer out from his sunglasses in NIH? That first time was utterly breathtaking. I would like to look at that concert and the next few that followed. He eventually stopped doing it Don't have time to find it myself today but if it is easy for someone, I would love to use that as a starting point.

We may end up creating a couple of playlists. One for the best musical rendition of each song, and one for the fun/amazing/ridiculous/oops moments in each song. So, to start, please post your favorites for NIH. adamtopia.com/thread/2458/qal-2014-repertoire-itlotg-nih?page=3

I'm here for a little while! I have breakfast plans with a friend in a little while. I'm doing 3 things at once: posting here, listening to the Live at the Rainbow preview again, and downloading QAL videos to my laptop from You Tube, and I have Queen Live at Montreal on my TV! I'm crazy, what can I say.

Good morning. Some comments from a QAL review. mmadamimadamm @mmadamimadamm 20m RT @veroniqueorcel: @adamlambert the 4 comms (from Queen fans) are awesome here theupsidenews.com/2014/09/04/queen-still-reign-supreme-with-a-little-help-from-adam-lambert/ … *__________________* Cool review too!
4 THOUGHTS ON “QUEEN STILL REIGN SUPREME WITH A LITTLE HELP FROM ADAM LAMBERT”
terry SEPTEMBER 6, 2014 AT 10:26
Mate, the middle section of Bo Rap has ALWAYS been done that way – including when Freddie was around. The audio is all electronically created – none of it is human sounds – so it’s impossible to recreate live and it would be stupid & embarassing to stand around on stage pretending to be part of it. So many reviewers seem to think that section is reproducible live when that would only be true if the members of Queen were all aliens. I was at both Rod Laver Arena gigs and found the sound mix the first night pretty bad – (It was “muddy” and unbalanced, Lambert was drowned out a lot from where i sat) but much better the 2nd night. In both cases tho, the show was brilliant and Adam Lambert’s vocals were astounding. His banter with the crowd, from watching the vids of different shows, seems to be better with some audiences than others but it doesnt matter – he’s always charming, humble, funny, self-deprecating and genuine so the audience like him either way. As for his vocals – they are ridiculously good. Best male vocalist in the world right now. May & Taylor and all the band were fantastic too! I had a wonderful time. Francis SEPTEMBER 6, 2014 AT 10:43Hard for Lambert to be himself when he’s performing as frontman for an iconic band with Freddie’s ghost looming over him the whole time & knowing that he’s getting constant bashing from nimrods who think Brian & Roger should have thrown themselves into the grave with Freddie and despise Adam for being gay/on Idol/talented/not Freddie/who knows what. So I’m not surprised his banter wasn’t as loose and free as it would be in one of his own concerts with an audience there to see him instead of an audience who are there to see Queen and expect him to fail miserably. Tough job and he carries it off brilliantly winning over all but the most determined misery guts by the end of the night. That’s worthy of praise all by itself – even without going into his awesome vocals, how he hasn’t missed a note in the entire 35 gig tour, how all of his vocals are live & not autotuned (gasp), his delightful stage presence that doesn’t rely on a bevy of semi-naked dancers to distract the audience, how he carries the show, supports Bri & Rog, rescues the whole deal from mishaps, alters the way he sings & performs songs every night to keep it fresh…. etc etc. The guy is constantly under-appreciated and deserves so much more recognition than he gets.queenrosered1 SEPTEMBER 6, 2014 AT 11:08This was overall a good review, mostly accurately reflecting the live experience. I’ll simply echo my friend Terry here, re: BoRhap. Because of the 160 track overlay in that section of the song, it was NEVER performed totally live. A large choir of voices would have been necessary to carry that off, lol. I’m also sorry about the “muddy” sound-mix issues in the first part of your first show but thankfully we experienced no such issues at the two awesome shows in Las Vegas this July. Lambert truly IS the greatest male singer alive. I’m with Brian and Roger when they say “Freddie would have liked him very much”PS: I thought Brian’s gold Lamé shirt to be a fitting touch for the operatic BoRhap! To even suggest that the ever-flamboyant Freddie (who once had to be talked out of arriving onstage astride a giant phallus which would then glide into a big pair of lips with a mustache!) would have felt any need to “rein in” a gold Lamé shirt is utterly laughable! Homework dear lady, do it, lol. Ta! talatzkomom2 SEPTEMBER 6, 2014 AT 14:44I ????d yur review! One of the many I’ve read that spoke it acactly the truth! It was an EPIC show I’ve been lucky enough 2 see the 5th show, and it got just better & better show after show! And did I know the last nite he was actually Sick? ( like needed a Dr sick) he still preformed flawless lee! And nobody even suspected! that’s the kind of man Adam is! Thanks For posting this amazing review! ????

OK I am posting here and maybe it will get copied to the right thread.
I was supposed to be on a call but happily unfortunately it got canceled so I had a chance no choice but to INDULGE.
My self imposed assignment was to find the concerts where Adam dropped his pants sunglasses during NIH. I LOVED that little move.
I found only two. To my surprise, the first was Montreal (I went there and didn't remember = bad stan) and the second was MSG. Now I did not look through every concert but I went backward to Toronto, Detroit and Dallas and checked Philly in between Montreal and MSG - - no dropping. I checked Mohegan and Merriweather right after. Same. He didn't do it. Don't know why. I have to say though that Toronto I was very adorable. Don't know if it will make my best of yet. Haven't finished the BSC monumental task ahead of watching them all.
Of the two sunglass drops, Montreal was sooo cute. He did an extra little eye doodad. In terms of "a moment in time" MSG was symbolically monumental when he belted out New York! Hard to find good videos of Montreal so here is shirotopooh's video of NIH. I will include one of MSG as well. Didn't try to pick the best. Just wanted to give ya'll an idea of the moment and we can pick the better versions.
Over and out for now unless my next appointment also happily tragically cancels as well.

OT but I would love for Adam to have a ballad on A3 and collaborate with the guy who wrote STAY. This is, to me, the best rendition of the song from anybody EVER!
