Sorry Q3 I agree that Queen should be the only established band that Adam collaborates with. I would love to see a duet with Pink! Something big and cool for a special performance. I agree about Queen. It is something special and another band wouldn't be satisfactory. Collaborations with other solo artists is a great idea, but they have to have at least a somewhat decent voice. Pink is a great choice.

P!NK would be my dream collab! Wow! Oh I would love that!! I believe they would sound perfect together! And the show! OMG!! How about Adam + P!nk Big Top Festival -- mash together P!nk's circus aerial act with Adam's LA troup of stilt walkers, fire throwers and all the people from the IIHY music video + EPIC VOICES!! I am there! No matter what corner of the earth they did it in! ETA: While k d lang + Adam would be a very significant collab -- particularly for the LGBT community -- I just don't think that is a vocal match that would work very well. These are two great vocalists, but IMVHO k d + Roy Obison was the perfect collab for k d. Frankly P!nk is one of the few artists that I want to hear Adam sing and perform with (excluding back-up vocalists). I would like to see Adam collaborate with a great pianist -- I just can't figure out who. I would like to hear Adam + Eric Clapton or B.B. King, or some other blues guitarist, I would like to hear Adam + Santana (the band, not the Glee character). I want to hear him with great accompanists rather than doing duets.

A little OT (sorry guys) but for all the Dr. Bri followers, his tweets, retweets, and his soapbox regarding his love of badgers, animals in general, and all of the causes he fights for in England are pretty noteworthy. I don't even know if we have badgers in the United States. He's really fired up this week, LOL. Somebody wrote on Twitter something like Brian May for Prime Minister. He seems to really hate the current PM.
Q3 comment: A request. Let's not get into a discussion of UK politics or the issues with ISIL/ISIS. Just say a prayer or two -- and then let's get back to the music. [It took all of my strength not to comment on this today.]

I can think of a few collab's I would like to hear. First of all...and I know Pink seems to have a following here...or maybe she is just 'cool' but I would really like to hear a proper collaboration with Adam and Gaga...if it is worked out properly, it could be absolutely epic. It is unfair INHO to prejudge this based on the off the cuff song with Queen.
I loved how Adam and Cyndi Lauper sounded together....really good....would love something original from them. I think that could be spectacular also.
For a blues option, I would love to hear Adam sing with Beth Hart....that could be killer....a whole different sound!!! gives me goose bumps just thinking of it....

And I agree, I would rather see Adam doing great stuff with great accompanists now than another duet. But a one off here or there would be a nice bonus. But I am having trouble imagining Adam with anybody else than Queen for the moment. My heart is still so full from this amazing pairing. We were so lucky to be able to witness it during this summer! And I was so very lucky that I could actually be at one of these shows. These memories will keep me going for a long long time. I am in this picture!! This is a picture with Adam, and Brian, and me!! I still have to look at this every once in a while to confirm that it actually happened.

OT, in answer to the Badger question -- yes, we have Badgers in the US (and Canada) -- in most states. Yes, we hunt them. The American badger (Taxidea taxus) is a North American badger, somewhat similar in appearance to the European badger. It is found in the western and central United States, northern Mexico, and south-central Canada to certain areas of southwestern British Columbia. They are protected in Canada and California -- In May 2000, the Canadian Species at Risk Act listed both the Taxidea taxus jacksoni and the T. t. jeffersonii subspecies as an endangered species in Canada. The California Department of Fish and Game designated the American badger as a California species of special concern. I have little knowledge of the European badger but the American badger will attacked people and has no real predators. (Wolve will kill and eat small, young or old badgers if they have no better options.) They are solitary animals and need a very large area per badger. Badgers have moved into central PA and most of Ohio. They will eat almost anything -- According to Wiki, "The American badger is a fossorial carnivore. It preys predominantly on pocket gophers (Geomyidae), ground squirrels (Spermophilus), moles (Talpidae), marmots (Marmota), prairie dogs (Cynomys), pika (Ochotona), woodrats (Neotoma), kangaroo rats (Dipodomys), deer mice (Peromyscus), and voles (Microtus), often digging to pursue prey into their dens, and sometimes plugging tunnel entrances with objects. They also prey on ground-nesting birds, such as the bank swallow or sand martin (Riparia riparia) and burrowing owl (Athene cunicularia), and lizards, amphibians, carrion, fish, skunks (Mephitis and Spilogale), insects, including bees and honeycomb, and some plant foods such as corn (Zea mais), peas, green beans, mushrooms and other fungi, and sunflower seeds (Helianthus)." Wisconsin is the Badger State. But that was not originally for the animals.

I kind of agree with this. The thought of Adam singing the blues in front of those great blues guitarists is really thrilling to me.
But would also love to see those duets done as one offs. Maybe one day a Tony Bennett type duets album?
And remember, I'm the one who would love an American Songbook album from him. Later, I know.
If I had my way I would be stretching that poor boy pretty thin, because I would be hard pressed to think of a genre I wouldn't want to hear him sing. Maybe not rap.
Would love to hear him tackle some international music too.
Oh, another thing, someone posted an article about the music industry that used a recipe analogy to describe what goes into becoming a successful artist. I wanted to say thank you for posting that, it was really interesting, and made me think again that as far as Adam's career, He's Got This.
He is one smart guy, I think he is aware of most if not all of the "ingredients" mentioned in the article. The article also pointed out all the behind things that Adam already excels at, imo, connections, leaving good impressions, professionalism. Great article, thought provoking, imo. There really has to be a confluence of many many factors, I would think this to be true even for someone like Justin Bieber, discovered on the internet.

[It took all of my strength not to comment on this today.] I'm not interested in commenting on UK politics or discussing any other kind of politics here... but I must say I'm hugely impressed with Dr Bri's social activism! After what most would consider a pretty grueling summer of traveling around the world and performing nonstop, the man jumped back into the fray as soon as he got off the plane back in England. God I love him. That is all.
