Adam Lambert Looks Sharp And Smiley As He Parties At Bootsy Bellows
September 10th, 2014
It’s almost as if Adam Lambert knew I was having a shitty week and decided to display his beautifulness just to make me happy. Thanks Adam.
The crazy talented singer was being his happy-go-lucky self last night as he partied at West Hollywood hot spot Bootsy Bellows. The few times I’ve gone to Bootsy Bellows I always hope to run into him and I never do. It makes me sad.
But luckily Adam’s smile from last night is making me happy. I wonder if he’s happy the Queen tour is over?
Well, I don’t think he would be happy because you can tell how much fun he had doing it, but I’m sure he’s relieved. He gets to sleep, relax, party at home and get back to work on his next album. We’re still hoping he gets it out before the end of 2014. Come on Adam, as you said yourself, “#3rdtimesaCharm”.
So let’s all just wait together. But let’s do it while staring at photos of Adam Lambert. Launch the gallery to check out his look from last night and his smile. Has he worn this exact outfit before? Or is it just reminiscent of the stuff he wears? I can’t figure it out, so if you can let me know in the comments below that’d be swell!

Gig a pinnacle of love affair with Queen
Q3 note: This is a “reader report” – that is, a Queen fan post from a NZ press site.

After a love affair with the glory of Queen music that stretches back to when I was 12 (1992, which is totally poor timing when it comes to discovering Freddie Mercury) I nearly had a excitement-induced heart attack when it was announced Queen were coming to Auckland - along with Adam Lambert whom I have to confess I really only know as "that guy from an American reality show".
Queen are known for their massive songs, ideal for large arenas, massive volume, and showmanship that is second to none. They didn't disappoint.
From the opening notes of Now I'm Here, every fibre of my being was caught up in the sound and sights which are so iconic of the band.
The woman next to me kept wolf-whistling in my ear and the lasers occasionally hit me square in the face, but I feel the small sacrifice of eyesight and hearing was a worthwhile price to pay.
The touring members of Queen are the same age as my parents and I doubt I will get the opportunity to see them again, so what do a few fewer senses matter?
Freddie was tastefully present without overdoing the fact he is no longer with us, and I tried my best not to think of Adam as his replacement. They are big shoes to fill, and he did incredibly well.
Brian May and Roger Taylor proved their talent and enthusiasm has not diminished with time - both fantastic musicians who are clearly on top of their game.
On an entirely personal level I would have liked to have seen at least an acknowledgment of John Deacon, but my little Deaky crush was well-satisfied by racing home to look at photos online while listening to Queen at top volume in a brave attempt to drag out the Queen concert experience. I'm sure the neighbours loved it!
In summary, the best concert I have ever attended. Opportunity of a lifetime. Now if I could only attend a Beatles concert my life would be complete!
