I really want to go to Europe as well. I'm not too picky! I told my best friend that I wanted to go see QAL if they tour Europe and she was like go for it! She thinks I need to do this. Of course you need to do this! Join me, Readon, bamafan, ljsmack, theosgma, csimms4, coo.coo.ca.cho, and anyone who wants to go in our canal/house/boat! It will need to be a big boat. I lived in Holland for two years and I really want to visit again and QAL is, as always, the perfect excuse for doing what I already want to do. I am really not picky either and Europe is sounding more and more like a sure thing. Amsterdam, my town!! Excellent choice! You are all so very very welcome here. (And Adam & Queen can come too, of course)  (view from my office window, right now. And no... we can't sleep there.....) |

Oh, me too!!! I've never been to Amsterdam!!! We should go for at least a week, use VRBO or some such to rent a 3-story townhouse on a canal, and have Atoppers sleeping all over the place. It would be such fun. Count me in ! Amsterdam is great! I have been there twice  |

So true, Junie. To make matters worse (for me), the world of Twitter makes me feel like I'm reading a foreign language. What with people's fast thumb typing, errors, shortened words, I can hardly figure out what some people are TRYING to say. Not to mentions 10 hashtags in a post. No problem. No matter what the topic seems to be, just reply "HOLY FUCKBALLS" followed by 60 exclamation points and you'll fit right in. Haaa!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! |

So true, Junie. To make matters worse (for me), the world of Twitter makes me feel like I'm reading a foreign language. What with people's fast thumb typing, errors, shortened words, I can hardly figure out what some people are TRYING to say. Not to mentions 10 hashtags in a post. The important thing to remember with lurking on twitter is that you are eves dropping on a 'private' conversation. You are not meant to understand everything that is or is not said. In this case, tweeter one popped off to tweeter two stating something as fact when she really knew nothing at all about what went on. Tweeter two bluntly told her to stop creating tall tales. My guess is tweeter one got the message. End of story. Yes, it does seems like part of the story is missing. Pretty much the only tweets I read are here on Atop. I haven't looked at my own Twitter account for ages. |
