Sure, he had the rock and roll swagger down pat during his stint on American Idol five years (!!) ago, and he’s got the voice, he’s released albums and had hit singles toured on his own and gotten his name into a few headlines — some of them probably unwanted, but, hey, that’s rock and roll too. But the man, now 32, spent a better part of this summer traveling the globe and fronting Queen on stage (seriously — think about that for a minute), filling the legendary shoes of Mr. Freddie Mercury. If you didn’t believe it before, you should definitely know it by now: Adam Lambert is a fucking rock star. So here we now have a new interview with Adam, where he’s looking pretty suave in the studio with Ryan Seacrest. (Watch it above.) The important takeaways here: He’s signed a new label deal after parting ways with RCA, and he’s working on his third album with “an amazing executive producer.” I love how he calls it "the Queen show". |

When Adam's A3 album comes out ,wouldn't that be great if Brian and Roger plug it.. There is no doubt in my mind that they will. Someone on twitter had a good question that I can't remember the answer to, "What is Queen's label?" Virgin in the UK, Hollywood in the US. |

Are you in Birmingham? I never even registered you were in the UK before! i'm there next week to see James Taylor! (My first love....) I am! *waves* The Birmingham venue for Glamnation was at the end of my road - very handy! We've moved further out now to buy our house, but I still work in Birmingham. I can see the new Birmingham library from my desk.  I was at Glamnation in Birmingham! Stood in line for four hours and was praying that I didn't die of cold before I saw him!.... Got to stand just feet away so pneumonia was worth it... |

Well let's look at this logically, 2015 is 12 months....the UK/Europe tour won't be as long as the tour they just finished so they could easily tour after the release of the album and Adam could do promo over there while on tour. Two birds/one stone. Plus if Adam's 3rd album has been released when they tour the press could mention it in every review. I think it is entirely possible to do both next year. There will be close to zero press in the US from a UK/EU tour. Oh, and I doubt Adam would ever do HS own music during QAL. Don't see that ever happening! But the fact that I am sad for me doesn't mean I am not happy for him! U.S. promo before the tour and then UK/Europe promo while on tour.....Adam's album's aren't just released in the U.S. afterall. Why would you be sad? I don't get it. |

Happy for those in Europe to get to see the tour. My thoughts are that with a QAL tour in the offing, Adam is going to have to finish off his album and not spend ages nitpicking over everything. I can't imagine that Adam would delay his own music again just to tour Europe with Queen so it must be feasable to get his own album out AND do QAL. I'll be staying here stateside, saving money for when Adam does concerts of his own new music. I will travel for that.  Happy for Europe and wherever else they go next year..... but I want......I NEED A3 and AFL at a venue near/not necessarily near me!  |
