To determine RPS, we divided the grosses by venue capacities. Highlighting RPS demonstrates a different and more interesting story about which shows can bring in value per seat versus simply being big, because calculating average ticket price does not account for empty seats.  Revenue Per Seat reflects the efficiency of a show’s marketing and the strength of its appeal, where Gross Sales reflects the effectiveness of the show as a money-making entity. Babysitting by granddaughter is finished for the day and I can finally come here and FLAIL about QAL's UK and EUROPE TOUR!!!!!! I peeked in quickly earlier and saw the news but couldn't post until now!! I am soooo happy for the extended tour and hoping they'll go to South America, Africa, and I want China too!! They love Adam in China and, I'm sure, Queen too!!  |

When Adam Lambert hit Ryan Seacrest's radio show to chat about his temporary American Idol judging gig on Thursday, the Glammy One let it slip that he's already teamed up with a new label for his third album after parting ways with RCA a year ago. “I’m not going to say too much because I try to keep things under wraps,” Lambert told Seacrest. “I’m working on this album, I’m really excited about it. I got signed to another label, which I’m not going to reveal right now, but it’s a really good deal and it’s a good project. I’m working with an amazing executive producer." After releasing Trespassing, which topped the Billboard 200 in 2012, Lambert parted ways with RCA after the label reportedly pressured him to record an all-covers album for his third LP, instead of new material. So, what's the new material going to sound like? "Again, I can’t say too much, but it’s going to be really good," Lambert said. It seems we'll just have to take his word on that for now. Lambert recently joined Jennifer Lopez and Harry Connick Jr. behind the judges' table for the New York auditions of American Idol season 14. Lambert is filling in for Keith Urban, who is taking time off to be with his wife, Nicole Kidman, after the death of her father. Season 14 of Idol premieres January 2015.
