I didn't watch the iHeartRadio show this weekend. But from what I've read they didn't have any legendary performers like QAL, Elton John or Paul McCartney this year? They had a few acts that have been around for a while -- Coldplay, Motley Crue and Train but mostly current artists. Excellent lineup of top 40 acts -- Usher, Taylor Swift, OD, Ariana Grande, Nicki Minaj, Weezer, Zac Brown Band, Ed Sheeren, Iggy Azalea, Paramore, Lorde, Eric Church, 50 Cent, Bastille, Calvin Harris, Neon Trees, 5 Seconds of Summer, Childish Gambino and about 12 other acts. |

Not even close to last year's line up! And that goes beyond the "iconic" acts, like QAL, Elton, Paul! I haven't seen a lot of post show publicity, like last year, either. They seemed to go for a younger group of artists, but the funny thing is, really young kids do not go to this show! It is industry people and those that can afford high priced tickets! I was surprised by the line up -- how many people over 20 want to see OD? Or Ariana Grande? |

Adam has been to Cabo more than once and perhaps that is why he tweeted this story. It appears that Ixtapa has damage but will be back to somewhat normal in about a couple of weeks -- they did not loose power or water there. They have lots of flooding and fallen trees. May you can switch your trip to Ixtapa -- beautiful place. Have been to Ixtapa twice. It is beautiful and wouldn't mind going back but both times natural disasters happened. The first was in 2004 with the huge Banda Aceh earthquake off Sumatra. Our hotel was on the beach and we were on tsunami watch for several days. The next time was in 2005 and we all went down for Christmas and New Years. We had a pretty good earthquake on New Years Day. I am not sure Ixtapa is a place I should go. Not sure what type of natural disaster could happen while I am there. After that excitment we switched to going to Cabo, Mazatlan and Puerto Vallarta. Did get a notice from Alaska that they are suspending all flights until the end of October. To make this Adam related, do we know if he has traveled to any other locations in Mexico? I wouldn't mind trying out Bali.  It is one of my fav places on earth -- ummmm -- hate to say it but please stay away!!  |

Awww, come on Hoppers... there are lots of new folks here since you shared some of those stories, as well as some of us older ones whose memories aren't worth a damn. Anyway a good story is always worth repeating. <grins> Oh bb, I promise I will retell at some point, but I've GOT to finish this project I'm working on tonight (just popping onto ATOP on breaks). Damn, that was a funny thread on ATOP. Can't remember how we got on the "dumb things we've done when drinking" meme that day, but there were some gut-cracking ones! |

Look at this! Dr May is amazing! He is speaking at a Conference tomorrow & says he's been working on this presentation for the past 3 months! LOL! Oh you know, in between selling out arenas! He is an amazing human being!

He is just unbelievable! I love how he ends one leg of an amazing tour then gets right into his other projects! Gah!
