Several parallels to Queen here: *Only two of the original ELO members (Jeff Lynne on guitar and lead vocals, and Richard Tandy on keyboard) are left from the original line-up, thus the change from "ELO" to "Jeff Lynne's ELO". That being said, since Jeff's voice is the anchor of the songs, a bit less of a problem accepting this as the Real Thing for purists I guess... *ELO was also founded in the 70s and has a huge catalog of exquisitely arranged songs. *In their heyday ELO were not taken seriously by the critics, now they dominate the event with a perfect sound and light show (sounds familiar?) and the event sold out - 50,000 tickets in 90 minutes! *A world tour might come out of this performance (similar to QAL dominating night 1 of IHRMF and then going on tour due to high demand). I must admit I have been a fan since the 80s ("Time" being one of my favorite albums of all time), so I might be biased, but if you want to give your day a bit of Electric Light, you can have a listen here: Wow, thanks for all this info, kryptoman!! So, it's 2:30 a.m., and I've really blown it and I'm going to bed immediately, but I have a fuckitbucket photobucket question... For the past 2-3 days, the photobucket editing function has not been working for me. When I click on "edit", absolutely nothing happens = the photo is not transferred into the edit mode. So, has anyone else been having this problem? adamrocks? If anyone has pics in photobucket, could you check and see if your edit function works? Thank you, and good night!  |
