Who was the author? I'm thinking NoAngel? Just sick about the gems we lost from Planet Fierce - AND - I still don't understand why we can't retrieve them. Isn't everything on the internet kicking around somewhere? Has anyone ever tried to contact the PF owner/host whatever the term is. Lovely lady, I don't understand it. I guess I never will. Treasure-trove of early Adam fandom. :( edit/ Ah...I see I was mistaken. The piece was written by PF owner Rowenaaine. I'm glad it is one of the things that was saved....... but it is true........ so much was lost. There was also a great and sarcastic Huffpo piece written a while later that I enjoyed ...... www.huffingtonpost.com/joe-vogel/an-open-letter-to-adam-la_b_361733.htmlLOL! I forgot about that Huffington Post writer's rebuttle! So great!!

Someone on twitter is tweeting old twitter parties I came acrsoss this! ADAM LAMBERT ✔ @adamlambert Follow Planet Fierce responds to A. Hicklin's "Open Letter to Adam" bit.ly/1yTFLP : thank you to the writer! YOU get it. 1:59 PM - 17 Nov 2009
Did anyone save that or is it one of the many things we lost? :( Who was the author? I'm thinking NoAngel? Just sick about the gems we lost from Planet Fierce - AND - I still don't understand why we can't retrieve them. Isn't everything on the internet kicking around somewhere? Has anyone ever tried to contact the PF owner/host whatever the term is. Lovely lady, I don't understand it. I guess I never will. Treasure-trove of early Adam fandom. :( edit/ Ah...I see I was mistaken. edited AGAIN! NoAngel wrote THIS wonderful essay: glamazingrace.blogspot.com/2010/07/adams-scarlet-letter-sin-transformed.html(thankfully some of the best bits have been captured on other blogs) Actually, Rowe wrote the first draft, but I wrote what was posted. I posted it under her byline because it was her idea and she really had the passion about it. Probably about 80% my writing. I still have a copy of it somewhere. *** The only person who can "unlock" the old PF material is Rowe/Pat -- she was the forum admin. And that is assuming that it is still there. It has been dormant for such a long time, I am not sure it still exists. I am resigned to never seeing any of it ever again. On the good side, I have a few of the better piece I wrote and all the Daily News photos and banners. One interesting aside, the forum is about 3 times as big as PF and it is backed up. So it will survive. ETA: I wrote only one piece on PF that I am really proud of -- about Adam and the concept of the Black Swan. At the time (2009) it was mocked by some Adam non-fans. But I looked at it the other day and it has mostly come true. The one I do not have is the April 1, 2010 piece that many people (and People Magazine and Billboard) thought was real -- opps! I would love to have a copy of that one! If anyone has it, please let me know!

If anyone is having trouble with the editor function in Photobucket it seems if you have Chrome with Ad Blocker, the edit function won't work. After stumbling around for a while and getting no help from Photobucket, this is what I discovered and this is how to at least get photos to load to the editor so you can revise them:
In chrome on the address line there is the "star" symbol to the far right that you use to bookmark a location. Next to it, outside the box are two little symbols: >>
Click on the symbols and a little menu pops up. Click on "Ad Blocker". It will give you a menu of options and select the one that says disable for this site. Make sure you are logged into Photobucket and it will disable Ad Blocker only for Photobucket and you can use the edit function.
The edit function still doesn't work great but at least if you have a single picture you want to edit you can click on the little wheel in the corner and select edit and the photo will load into the editor.

You could switch to Firefox which does not have the issue -- and keep two browsers open.
