Thanks for the flowers  Some thoughts and details about this work: * The colors don't follow the natural spectrum (red to violet) because I wanted the early days to be "greenish", the AI year to be blue like the AI color theme, the FYE year to be the same as his hair on the cover, Trespassing of course had to be yellow, and then he starts getting "red-hot". Still, it vaguely resembles the gay pride flag... * I had to decide whether to mark the actual date of an event, or the on-air date as seen on TV. I went with the latter, so the BoRap performance is noted in 2009 and not 2008 when it was actually recorded. * The numbers at the arcs are the days between the events. I had months and years calculated too, but the only full-circle that benefited from that was the Fonda Theatre A Change Is Gonna Come which was exactly 6 years to the day, same song, same place. (6*365 = 2190 + 1 for Feb 29, 2008 = 2191). So I decided to just display the days... * Some of the semi-circles are a bit arbitrary, for example I could have connected all QUEEN events with the BoRap audition, but I preferred to connect to the WATC on the AI finale instead as it was the day they actually met and performed together for the first time... |
