Mayumi -
You have worked so long and hard.....many congratulations. It brings a lump to my throat to think how many people will benefit from your unselfish determination. Oh my gosh..My husband has macular degeneratiion.. what wonderful thing has Mayumi discovered.. Congratulations to Mayumi.. for her contribution... Please let me know what the FDA has approved.. Thankful I want to know more about this too. My mother has macular degeneration and is having such a hard time with her vision loss. She has the dry type. Could someone explain more about Mayumi's drug here, or provide a link to direct us to more information? I would be over the moon if something has been found that could help my mother, and having it come from one of our own Adamtopians would send me over the stars as well!

Betty, you are doing a remarkable job with the cakes. So appreciated. Just another reason ATOP is so special. Here's another. Thanks to generous and thoughtful Atoppers, Glampoon will be getting train fare, dinner, and a ticket to the Sat O2 concert. Also, while she won't brag herself, Mayumi's anti-macular degeneration drug, finally made it though the FDA! It is already available in other parts of the world. I'm so proud and humbled to be a part of this marvelous community. Bountiful Blessings and Hugs all around!
Just another add-on to a great post. My favorite aunt suffered from macular degeneration, so I know how debilitating this condition can be - so big congratulations to Mayumi! And - Glampoon being able to see QAL at O2! This really warms my heart. Atopers are good people!
