So my daughter FINALLY gets to see Adam with me. She had 2 babies in quick succession and was pregnant for both GNT & Hammersmith. She's loved Queen since childhood and really likes Adam (as a fan rather than a stan, unlike her mother ) We're off to Manchester - only an hour by car so no hotel to sort out. Soooooooooo EXCITED!!!!!!!!! </img> where are you from in the UK? I was born and raised in Birkenhead, about the distance from Manchester, that would be my venue too if I was back home! ENJOY!!!!! By the sea in an illuminated town! Well just outside but that's the general direction. Oh I'm so looking forward to it - last time Adam was in Manchester the venue was tiny - about 800 - so to see him in such a large venue will be a different experience - Hammersmith was small compared with the Manchester arena.

With spectacular, eccentric stage show they were already on the road in the USA, Canada, Asia, Australia, New Zealand and Europe, now they come for seven shows in Germany and Austria. Between 29 January and 13 February will be Queen , the uncrowned champion of rock music, reinforced by Adam Lambert rock the stage as the front man. The previous stages of their world tour were sold out. Stage design, visual effects and technology made it an exceptional setting for the show, in which the Queen anthems "We Are The Champions", "Bohemian Rhapsody", "We Will Rock You", "Killer Queen", "Somebody To Love "and" The Show Must Go On ", of course, not be absent. Rev. FrontmanAdam Lambert can and should state the unique and died much too young Freddie Mercury, of course, do not replace, but he impresses with eccentric and above all glamorous appearance and a similar vocal range. Queen have therefore found in Adam Lambert a front man who fills the appropriate part of the lead singer. The live Liason began in 2009, when she in the finale of "American Idol" performten together "We Are The Champions". Again blood she licked then in 2011 during an appearance at the MTV European Music Awards, followed by selected live concerts, has settled for a world tour. The result can admire early 2015 on several stages in Germany and Austria. The sale starts on October 2nd.

I love this pic they used for the article! laurieb @libralaurie 3h3 hours ago Queen set to reign at Glasto (via @daily_Star) www.dailystar.co.uk/showbiz/goss/402486/Queen-to-reign-at-Glastonbury-2015 …
Queen set to reign at Glasto IS MICHAEL Eavis about to sprinkle a Kind Of Magic across Worthy Farm next summer?
By Off the Record / Published 30th September 2014 Promoters are putting Queen and new man Adam Lambert Under Pressure to pop their Glastonbury cherry. It comes after the band announced a seven-date arena tour for next January. Our Crazy Little Thing Called a source said: “Even without Freddie Mercury, Queen remain a massive draw. “Glastonbury is just one of the possible destinations. The band would love to have a go.” Former American Idol star turned Queen frontman Adam, 32, has been singing with the band on and off since 2009. But he still buzzes every time he sees guitarist Brian May, 67, next to him on stage. He said: “I pinch myself every step of the way. “It is an honour to be up there singing the songs that Freddie helped to make famous.” Brian told Off The Record recently: “There are so many places we never got the chance to play with Freddie.” Adam has a new solo album due next March and he’s promising something extra special. He called it: “The element of surprise in a post-Beyoncé world.” Queen’s headline tour kicks off at Newcastle Arena on January 13. Tickets go on sale Friday.
