Look for Adam Lambert’s long-awaited next album to be released on a new label; not his long-time label RCA. Lambert revealed to Ryan Seacrest, on his radio show, that he had inked as new deal, "I'm not going to say too much because I try to keep things under wraps. I'm working on this album and I'm really excited about it. I got signed to another label, which I'm not going to reveal right now, but it's a really good deal and it's a good project. I'm working with an amazing executive producer."
His second album, Trespassing, for RCA, enjoyed respectable sales; close to 78,000 on its debut day and made many year-end Best Of lists, including Rolling Stone and People.com. It reached #1 on the Billboard Top 200 as well as inching near the top of the iTunes chart.
For an artist of Lambert’s talents, he certainly deserves a label that can deliver for him. His talent is exceptional; proved yet again by his recently completed tour with Queen.
No doubt it about, the kid’s got it!

OTT. Brian May, alongwith 29 other artists is playing on the "God Only Knows", recording on YouTube. Apparently it's by the BBC, promoting music. This was originally a Beach Boys song and includes Brian Wilson with the other artists.

@saharjojo10 oh guys don't make up something that isn't there. I just think it's cute that Adam is in this listA few people on Twitter were angsting over the article wish was a wish list. The list of the blog post is in the first tweet I posted. Read pages 2-3 in this thread for more info.
Thank Q3! I read #14 & 46 on that article, but I didn't make the connection since the tweet was posted by itself. I went that that person's twitter page and couldn't find the tweet he sent to Shoshanna.

It's so quite.. so quite because Adam's working to finish his album and I'm happy. I do! But there's also some anxious feeling. It feels like the "Calm before the storm"... waiting for that single announcement. And then that roller coaster will start rolling again.. |
