I didn't see 'In The Lap Of The Gods and Tie Your Mother Down' in the DL. BB, read Terra's comments on the Wiki site. They didn't do those songs in Osaka.

Dr. Brian May retweeted cassandra pieroni @cassandp 45 minutes agoyoutu.be/5-6fEj17MK4 #doctorwho #queen @drbrianmay cracker of a cover of a great song
I don't normally listen to covers of songs that I am very familiar with, but it was Dr. Who so how could I not. Anyway, I found this very interesting. I knew that the lyrics to Don't Stop Me Now were very provocative but there is nothing like a sweet lovely voice singing them to showcase just how wild they really are. I like the singer's cute voice (nicely on-key) and phrasing and her demure performance but I just kept expecting her to explode or melt or something and yet the dancers just kept boringly dancing and everything was nicely contained and controlled on Mother Earth. I need to watch the episode to see if she was using her powers to keep the audience away from the explosion that was happening elsewhere. LOL. I am left oddly vigilant.

Of course, Happy Birthday to Q3! I also want to wish my partner in concert mayhem, Babs12, a wonderful birthday as well, publicly that is. Babs and I met at an Adam GNT concert, and though we live states away from each other, have remained good friends. When I had my knee replacement a year ago, Babs came to stay with me after I left rehab. Just another reason to love this place. You are my community of choice--filled with so many "choice" people. I have to echo your birthday wishes for Babs12 - you have been wonderful friends and traveling buds! Happy Birthday to Babs, too!!! I loved meeting you in Chicago . . . you made my drab salad lunch a small part of a wonderful afternoon with your company!!

I am so jealous!! You can surely enter. I hope my Cleveland classic rock station joins in. I entered just in case. I might also enter from Mississippi, maybe an Memphis - North Mississippi- North Alabama station will join. I entered thru WTAK 106.1 in Hartselle, Al. about 20 miles north of me. They have the link on their site. It's the same Classic Rock radio station that participated in the last IHeart contest. Oh, thanks! I can get WTAK from Tupelo! So I can enter!

Since it's Thanksgiving weekend and we have family visiting, I'm late to the thread. A BIG Happy Birthday to Q3 and I am thankful for this wonderful forum that you host and all the amazing people that you have brought together here. I am also very, very thankful that Adam popped into my life out of my television set and has entertained me enormously ever since.

Q3 - Almost a belated Happy Birthday wish - but a very sincere one. You've made a lot of people happy by providing this wonderful home away from home. I am thankful every day for it. Hope you've had a great day.
