Though the ratings are dropping, the sales don’t lie.
It was announced this week by IdolsNow that, collectively, contestants from FOX’s ‘American Idol’ have racked up an incredible 437 #1s on the US Billboard charts. (Adam mention)
The bump brings Underwood’s Billboard #1s total to 77, which is just behind season 1 winner Kelly Clarkson’s current tally of 91. Other stars adding to the huge collective number with 10 or more #1s include Chris Daughtry (season 5), Fantasia (season 3), Ruben Studdard (season 2), Jennifer Hudson (season 3), Mandisa (season 5), Clay Aiken (season 2), Phillip Phillips (season 11) and Adam Lambert (season 8).
Speaking about the reality singing competition’s crazy success last year, Fred Bronson of Idol Worship said that the shows success “is even bigger than Clarkson and Underwood” who have contributed most to the #1s tally. “So far, 68 finalists from the first 11 seasons have appeared on the Billboard charts.”

Let me tell you, going to see a runway show where the collection is called “Collection 3: Slut goes to the moon” is pretty much the perfect way to spend an evening. Especially when you get to sit next to Adam Lambert.
The Socialite Life team was on hand last night to do just that as we checked out Marco Marco’s latest collection. You remember Marco Marco, right? He’s the guy who–and I’m quoting Adam here–”tore the fashion world a new glittery hole.”
And friends, he did it again last night.
Between the drag queens and the super fit guys in underwear walking the carpet, to Adam, Carmen Electra, Samuel Larsen and Socialite Life in the audience, it was a night to remember. I mean, just look at me and Adam. (Ignore my closed eyes. Ugh, glasses.)

Adam Lambert, AT&T, and around 200 fans celebrated the successful end of the second #ATTLiveProud campaign on Monday night at the Highline Ballroom in New York City. Fans gathered for an intimate, acoustic performance by former American Idol contestant, longtime LGBT advocate, and bona fide superstar Adam Lambert. Passport was proud to send three lucky winners and their guests to the event in NYC to raise and encourage LGBT awareness, empowerment, and, of course, pride!
The Live Proud campaign encouraged fans to submit a unique meme on AT&T’s Facebook page telling the world how they “Live Proud.” Four winners were selected from this nationwide contest and brought to New York to attend the finale. As one of the most LGBT-friendly companies today, AT&T is committed to enriching and strengthening the LGBT community nationwide, and has been listed on the HRC Foundation’s “Best Places to Work” since 2004.
Given the success of this year’s campaign, we wouldn’t be surprised if Adam and AT&T teamed up for a third consecutive year to continue this inspiring initiative. Here’s to those who #LiveProud!

Adam Lambert rocks a fierce cowboy hat as he hits the red carpet while attending the Marco Marco: Collection Three Runway Presentation held at the Vibiana Cathedral on Tuesday (October 14) in Los Angeles.
