Avicii said recently that the album is not coming out until he has released almost all the singles! Ya! Interesting strategy! Also, he has something released here because it is doing quite well on iTunes! Can't check it on my phone, but it was quite high! ETA: it is The Days, released here last week!! It is back to that old question-- what is a single release date now? The US it is available for sale (10/3/14) but not to radio although some US stations are playing it anyway. >> I do not see any US radio release date for "The Days" and the UMG promo material referred to it as a promotional single -- so "The Days" may not be promoted here (beyond the use in the Ralph Lauren commercial). The UK really does not have it yet -- it is neither for sale or released to radio. But you can easily rip it from the VEVO/YouTube video. In any case, back to the original comment, he says he will play all the tracks before he releases the album and so depending on your definition of "soon" IF "Calico" is on Avicii's album, it might be heard soon even though "The Days" has just been "released." |

He said he will release (not play) all the singles before the album. If we use TRUTH, as a guide, there were 5 singles, right? I am thinking, in reality, he might do 3 singles before the album. So probably about 6-7 months from now, since he releases his singles, internationally, about every 2 months!
To make a long story short, I don't think we will be hearing Calico anytime soon.
