Here is something I have discovered about the smileys (at least for me). If I use "select smiley" and insert, I get the smiley code. If I go to "view all smilies" and select from there, I get the smiley I want. Give it a try!

Just checking in and forwarding sunhine feels .... I am just now taking a break from bathing in he most extraordinary fall sunshine EVER on my balcony ... LOL tablet dont work in the sun, but kindle does nd I read a lot out there ...

Leave it up to Adam to think of Halloween as a season! HAHAHA!  I think for many people it has turned into a season--with serious yard and house decorating. It's certainly a bigger deal than when I was a kid. |

Halloween is HUGE in California! Probably more yard decorations than for the Christmas holidays! That's because Y'all are "of the devil".....LOLOL Just kiddin....kinda/sorta. At least that's what many around these parts think.....the West Coast is another country. Really, just tryin to push the thread to page 2. ETA: Yay, it's pushed. |

Houses get decorated, the residents dress up just to pass out candy, cities have parties for the kids! When my folks retired and moved out here, from CT, they were amazed at all the Halloween hoopla! It has been my son's favorite since he was a child! Now he goes all out for his daughters' costumes! My son in law, the same way. He has a Buzz Lightyear costume for this year! LOL! You have not seen anything until you have seen a 6' 2" man as Buzz!  ETA: Bama, I hope you tell all those Alabamans that we Cali people are very sweet and almost normal! It's all the sunshine! Fries our brains! Yup!  |

Halloween is a favorite for me. There are only two houses in the neighborhood that do a pretty good job of decorating for Halloween - One of the decorators is me. ha ha. So in the spirit of turning into a pumpkin and Adams tweet -another temporary avi change is in order.
