Just had to share this gem again   If a video could be worn out by viewing it too many times, this would be torn to shreds  . I can't count how many times I've watched it.  This is my all-time-favourite video of "Under Pressure"! Roger isn't playing drums, but standing next to Adam, Adam sings that wonderful glorious note at 2:56 and has the most boyish and joyful grin at 4:20.  How many times have I put this track on repeat play in my car? That note still gives me chills. |

Perhaps QAL are going to be on the UK XF Finale in Dec. Can't think of any other reason for Adam to follow it!

Thinking about Adam, what else is new? After watching the F Word for the 50th time.. Wondering if Adam is in the process of changing the celebrity image fostered on him to the artist image...:He has said he never was going for the fame thing..but for longevity . In a way I sometimes equate this with character actors who live on in movies no matter how old they become,rather than the STARS with their ups and downs..As an artist rather than a Star celebrity Adam can do the same in my opinion..have the longevity and the privacy that others only dream about...Just a thought.. I know photographers still find Adam most attractive ,but I see a change in Adam himself..IMHO he seems to be very much in charge of his image and his life.... This after my upset yesterday about his star status.. I guess my feelings are all over the map... :  Too much time to think.. out for a walk Back from my walk and still confused... LOL |

OT, but I have never been a fan of Lady GaGa, but I've heard many people say that she can really sing. I just listened to her Cheek to Cheek album with Tony Bennet. Let's just say that I'm converted.  I'm sitting here at the car dealership getting my car worked on for the second time because they didn't fix the problem the first time I brought it in and I'll have 2 hours to get to be here and see what Adam news we have today. Hmmm............nada!  |
